Previously in this life he has served in the army and been a mercenary. Currently he owns bar where he spends a fair amount of time drinking. Hair Color: Black Eye Color: Dark Brown Height/Build: 6’2/Muscular Personality: Iason spent a majority of his lives as an idealistic guy constantly searching for a great adventure. He was able to see the world with optimism, the reincarnation meant he could explore every possible life, every door was open to him. He lived his lives indulging every whim, taking chances and learning whatever he could. The past few centuries, however, he’s lost his hopefulness and lust for life. Nothing seems new, everything is dull and the only thing that brings any excitement into his life is a good fight. He finds it hard to connect to people, hard to care about pretty much anything, with exception of something worth fighting for. Iason feels compelled to atone for every mistake he’s made throughout his long existence, and one thing that hasn't changed is his compulsion to help those who need it. He's also maintained his brash impulsiveness through out the years, always looking to rush into danger and more than willing to sacrifice himself for others. Bio: Iason started from the humblest of origins in ancient Greece, his parents were peasants and he lost both of them at a young age and after a short while of stealing to survive he was caught and forced into slavery as punishment. He thought things were going to get better when a young woman offered to help him escape his cruel masters but in the end his life was fated to be as quick and brutal as his death. On the night of the lunar eclipse so many centuries ago, and, at the young age of fifteen, Iason’s throat was ruthlessly slit, the third sacrifice in ritual gone wrong. The witches trying to desperately to gain eternal life for themselves ended up cursing him and the other sacrifices with immortality. The next few lives were confusing, as the memories would come to a young Iason, he would fear he was going mad. The sight of fire would send him into fits of terror as the child would vividly recall the horror of the night he was murdered. Those around him thought him mad, he thought he was mad, it took him many lifetimes to come grips with what was happening. He slowly learned to keep his past memories to himself, how to keep control when particularly traumatic memories where triggered and once he realized that he constantly being reincarnated he began to use it to his advantage. Iason spent several lives training to be a great soldier in whatever life he found himself in, determined to be strong, to never allow himself to be a victim like he was in his first life. Should they come for him again he would be ready and should he find others like him, for he was convinced he could not be the only one, he would be able to help protect them. In so many of his lives he became an exceptional warrior, he lacked any fear of death and he was constantly building on what he learned from his previous life. He got his first taste of a righteous fight when he died in the Third Servile War, fighting alongside the likes of Spartacus. In the 5 BCE, by some stroke of incredible luck, he met Xanthippe, and after he drunkenly bragged about his immortality he eventually realized that he had found another like himself. He always suspected that he wasn’t the only one but finally and for the first time, he wasn’t alone in this. They promised to keep finding each other and the others like them. It took a while but they eventually found Alexandros and founded the guardians. They learned to leave clues for each, set up meeting places and ways for them to find each other again and again. All the while they kept looking for the remaining three and eventually all six were reunited again. After a while though, Iason became restless of living the same kind of life, of constantly meeting up with the others and avoiding witches. Iason drifted from the others, he spent many lifetimes exploring the world, training in the new fighting techniques that the cultures he lived with practiced. He spent lives as warriors, soldiers, hunters, criminals, and even a few as a farmer but eventually he got restless again. He tried lives where he settled down, married, and raised a family but found those lives hollow and dull. Then he tried to find answers devoting himself to whatever religion he was born into, he spent lives as various holy men practicing the religions of the east and west and found those lacking in the answers he sought as well. He spent a life as a member of the infamous Korikov family, hunting those who once hunted him. This life was one of his favorites, protecting the world from the likes of witches and vampires felt right, and he found that vengeance suited him. He spent lifetimes searching for a righteous fight, joining every uprising, revolt, and revolution he could find. He also sought excitement and adventure, eventually spending lifetimes as pirates or explorers. He died on Culloden Moor fighting with Scottish Highlanders, as well as during the French revolution and the June Rebellion, and in the Irish War of Independence. He dumped tea into the Boston Harbor, served under General Washington, and fought against the Confederacy. Iason eventually met up with some members of the order from the Korikov family and joined them again in hunting down witches. He allowed himself to be consumed by hate, even after so many years the memory of the helpless rage he felt the night he was sacrificed burned within him. Eventually this lead him to participate in the slaughter of an entire family, a family believed to be witches, but as it turned out, where peasants who used herbs for healing. The guilt drove him mad, and after ending that life he spent the next few lives as a drunk, occasionally ending up in rudimentary mental institutions and prisons trying to punish himself. Iason eventually came to the conclusion that immortality was the cruelest curse. Making connections to people was painful, knowing that they would die and he would be left with only memories and longing. Eventually it became harder and harder to find new experiences, everything was tedious and he was stuck with the baggage of every life he had lived. Reincarnation should leave the spirit with a clean slate, make it fresh and new again, but Iason was further tarnished by ever life, every painful experience, and every mistake and left to dwell for eternity. He changed drastically, became bitter and withdrawn, every life drove him deeper into a depression, he saw no point in making connections with people; one lifetime was so fleeting and no average mortal could really understand what immortality was like, there were only five other people who could understand. Slowly he began to return to the Guardians and meeting up with the other five but never really returned to the idealistic free spirit he once was. The only thing that makes him feel alive is a fight, and hunting down vampire’s is his new obsession, as well as his personal quest to one day break his cycle of immortality. His current life is that of Sebastian Wyatt, his father was both a mean drunk and career criminal and his mother a pill head. He didn’t stay with them long, social services quickly deemed them unfit parents and for the first eighteen years of his life he bounced around in the foster care system going from one terrible home to another. Just as before his memories from previous lives returned to him and after going through that so many times before he dealt with it on his own. As a kid, he was a loner but he did well enough in school to fly under the radar. When he came of age he enlisted in the army, then he spent some time working as a mercenary but, like in many of his more recent lives, he found modern wars lacked the clarity of the revolutions he fought in years ago, and eventually fell back into vampire hunting. He has yet to seek out any of the other five, but while his loneliness driving him to reach out to them he keeps putting it off in favor of spending his time drinking and hunting. Seb owns a bar in Brooklyn, Argonauts, which is mildly successful. Extra: Hobbies include drinking rum and looking for trouble.
