[@PKMNB0Y] Regarding first character the amount of physical toughness is above the average human, in the sense that the person can still act and survive from having had been hit by a large fireball or a lightning bolt. While being wounded, even heavily by some of these it would not be enough to kill him with just one hit. The actual strength on using fist and feet is enough to cause a 2 metre cyborg to be knocked back and harmed. So not what one would consider average compared to a normal human. In terms of speed, he is capable of dodging quick projectiles like artificial lightningbolts, fireballs, rockets, machinegun-fire and beam attacks. In regards to the second character.
The attacks he has taken has been during the anime was apart from regular blows and parries: 1 A kick to the face by a warrior (Gourry), which caused him to get knocked back abit. 2 A barrage of smaller cone projectiles. Comparable to thorns. Which did damage him just not enough to cause him serious injury. (Xelloss) 3 Was pained greatly as Xelloss pushed down the end of his staff against his draconic arms. 4 He took a spell which sent him flying through a few stone floors down to a lower level of a building. (Lina Inverse) 5 He did take the amplified Dragon-slave spell fired directly into his body by Lina Inverse. The attack did wound him badly, with one of his wings taking severe wounds as a result. (Lina Inverse) Note: I am not trying to bring in his merged form with Darkstar/Vorfeed. So not sure what you meant he could tank so very well.
If you want to reconsider it. Otherwise I'll just pick someone else.
