Personality: As a result of his demonic nature and the strong residual feelings of the fallen magical girl clashing against one another, Nero has a stoic personality, but tends to lean towards good deeds wherever he can. He does, however, have a violent nature and reasonably short temper, and is known to lash out should he be pushed too far. He doesn't care much for the opinions of others, especially pertaining to his true nature, but values Susan Nakamura's views due to the hero-worship of the girl who's spiritstone he was formed from.

During battle, his demonic side is more evident as he is ruthless and aggressive, and if he is not careful he can succumb to slight bloodlust, which can make him more reckless and act without regard to the consequences.

Bio: 22 years ago, a magical girl fell to demons and her spiritstone wasn't purified in time. From the stone, Naerious was born. His demonic nature urged him to consume and destroy, yet the strong feelings of that fallen magical girl echoed through her spiritstone and urged him to protect and fight off the demons. Angry and confused, he did answered both sides of his conflicting nature by preying on and consuming other demons, growing in power and avoiding conflict with the magical girls all across Japan. He spent the next 18 years gaining power, until his instincts finally grew into competent sentience. A memory formed in his mind from the fallen magical girl, an older girl she idolised named Susan Nakamura, and began to search the country until he finally located HeartShine Academy. Disabling the first few girls to attack him, he asked for Susan by name. When he finally spoke her, he was barely able to convince her of his good and agreed to join HeartShine a year later, when she took up her role as Headmistress.

Utility Abilities: 
Demonic Vision - Extremely sharp eyesight, with very strong low-light vision
Demonic Sense - Can sense when other demons are nearby, and accurately identify how strong they are
Demonic Consumption - Can consume other Demons, or more specifically unpurified Demon Shards, to regain health and energy, with a slight chance to gain new powers.
Flight - Can grow a pair of demonic wings to allow for free flight
Deception - Allows him to disguise himself, useful for blending in and trying to make people feel less on edge.

Minor Attacks: 
Black Lightning - Basic electrical attack, shoots a bolt of lightning towards a target.
Demon Fire - Basic Fire attack, shoots a short jet of flames at a target.

Shadow Crawl - allows him to take on a non-physical form and travel unseen between shadows, but must return to physical form to attack.

Moderate Attacks:
Black Storm - Multiple bolts of black lightning strikes simultaneously, up to 4 at a time.
Demonic Arms - Summons a demonic sword imbued with fire and a demonic spear imbued with lightning, which can return to his hand if thrown or lost
Fire Strike - shoots a larger, more powerful jet of flame.

Major Attacks:
Reqieus Daemon -  Summons a storm of demonic swords, spears, lightning and flames and launches them at an enemy in a concentrated beam.
