Haruka Sanegeyama
In the moments it took her to recover from her self-embarrassment, which had her leaned over the counter with a strong feeling of regret tearing its way through her torso, Donny returned and spoke up. Haruka met eyes with him and upon seeing his smile, she allowed herself to calm down a bit and stood up, straightening herself out once again. "Y-yeah," She said with a nod, feeling determined again. They were getting in there and about to make some good stuff, she could feel it. After Donny washed his hands, Haruka took a turn to do the same, watching as he washed the rice off. He then transferred it to the steamer, revealing its secret applications to her. She understood now. It wasn't quite technological enough to count as her Qurik taking effect, but it was new knowledge all the same. "Ooh," she mumbled. This was interesting. Once more, a request came, and Haruka gave a firm nod. "Okay, sure. Fish and eggs. Sounds good," she said in agreement with the requests. "Be right back!" Immediately, she went to the food storage, where she began to search the meat locker for a few things. Salted fish, eggs, simple fillings like that. She picked some tuna and looked through the eggs, searching for the tiniest ones she could find. Luckily, a carton of absolutely miniscule eggs was soon uncovered, and she took a moment to examine them. "How can something even be so tiny? Whatever comes out of those must be small as hell. I don't think I've ever actually seen a quail..." She shook her head to get her thoughts away from the distraction, and with proteins in tow, a detour was taken to the pantry shelves. She grabbed a bottle of mayonnaise, since she at least knew her dad used it as an ingredient for tuna-filled ones, and a handful of spice bottles that smelled good. Now that everything was gathered, she returned to the workstation with Donny, presenting what she had gathered. "I got the eggs here, and some tuna and mayonnaise for another filling? My dad makes something with this, but I'm not sure what all he puts in." She set the spices up in a row, to show what she'd gathered even if it was mostly at random. [@Lucius Cypher]
