Debating trading out Language (Techna-Lingua) for Trade (Armorer) for background reasons, but it seems wrong to me to have a Tech-Priest who doesn't know binary. Also for background reasons, how old was the 103rd as a regiment? Just founded, few years, couple decades, older?
I was going off the idea that the 103rd was relatively new, probably either just founded or a few years old. For one, 103rd is quite far from 37th, and Drop Troop regiments are supposed to be rare in the Imperial Guard. Secondly, Elysians have to serve a tour of duty in the PDF first before joining the IG (which are also volunteer only regiments), and then they have to be rated an expert marksman before actually being thrown into combat. It seems a lot more complex than giving a lasgun to a tithed conscript with basic training and then sending them to go die for the Emperor, so I imagine there would be not that many Elysian regiments out there. Those are just my two cents, however. It'd be best to ask [@AdvancedJ3lly] for his opinion over this. EDIT: Supposedly there are at least 352 Elysian regiments out there according to Gathering Storm: Fracture of Biel-Tan, which is a supplement to the war game version of 40K. However, I'm not sure if the GM wants to use information from it.
