Yeah we can figure it out more the further into the story we go. I think having true love break the curse makes the most sense, because it would explain why Akito yelled at Tohru about why she thought she could break the curse. Tohru wasn't truly in love with Kyo so that's why the curse didn't break. I think having Momiji and Tohru break the curse would make the most sense.
