"Potions, you seem much more like a Charms Professor if you ya ask me." She laughed lightly at him, giving him a wide grin. "Yes, quite a pleasure I'd say." She agreed, amused and intrigued that one of the new professors was so friendly. It was like a giant breath of fresh air. Fianna was hopeful she could call Gabrial a friend since in her mind, one could never have too many of those, especially when you had a tough job teaching the next generation of witches and wizards. Her hand dropped back to her side while her other cradled her goblet filled with bubbly water. She was eager to get to dinner soon, keen on having a bit of wine before bed. Tomorrow would be a big day with students arriving but it still gave the professors a day to prep before classes began the following day. For now Fianna wanted to focus on building further relationships with her fellow colleagues as they had to rely on one another to be the best teachers but to also stay sane during tough moments. "Eh?" She looked to Gabrial when he mentioned he did have a question. Following to where he had moved, the woman looked down at the map he was using in order to find his way to The Great Hall. The castle could be confusing but then it dawned on her. "Ahh you must not be a Hogwarts alum." SHe realized. Hogwarts tended to hire from both previous Hogwarts students but also outsiders from other schools. She felt foolish for having assumed he had once roamed the halls as a student. She blushed slightly. "Aha, my apologies for my assumption." She laughed a little and gestured to the most direct route for him to take. "So you're right about where you'd go to get to The Great Hall." She confirmed his uncertainty, not wanting him to get lost on his way to breakfast. But since the students wouldn't be coming until the late afternoon, she was sure he'd get the hang of a few necessary pathways around the castle quick enough. "Runs?" She repeated, needing a moment to figure out his meaning. "Oh like running." She paused to think for a moment. "I believe a jaunt around the Quidditch pitch might be much like a track but I'd also suggest down by the lake if ya'd like a better view than just the green grass. If ya feelin' brave you could try to the forest but ahhh I wouldn't." Fianna laughed lightly and took a sip of her water. "I didn't peg you as a running type though, you're blowing through all my assumptions of you." She said bluntly, her tone amused. "I like it." She then said quickly and patted him on the back. "Ya gonna keep me on my toes, I can tell." Looking over at the door, a tall grey haired witch entered the room and soon the chatter faded away. "Good evening everyone. I am Minerva McGonagall, Headmaster or Headmistress of Hogwarts. I am a former professor of Transfiguration though it seems Professor Quinn has been doing a fine job as my successor." The woman began to say. "Now I have a few things to note before we head off to The Great Hall for dinner." Her accent was Scottish and many knew her credentials and history without her needing to spell it out. "I would like to introduce our four new incoming professors for the new school year. We should all do our best to be accommodating and help them in any way possible. Most notably is our new Potions Master, Gabrail Warren." She paused and gestured to the white haired man by Fianna. "Would you care to say a few words, my dear?" She asked him.
