This is, of course, a work in progress.  Let me know what you think.  I tried to keep the "magic" aspect nebulous to better fit with what you have planned.

Species: Imperial Great Horned Malachite
Age: Hatchling

Personality: Aggressive to the extreme.  Reign is a ruler amongst dragons.  While still a hatchling he doesn't quite understand the hunger he feels but it is always there.  Eventually he will feel the need to hunt other dragons for their breath weapons and then to enslave other dragons.

Bio: Reign, as an egg, existed inside a collection of ancient artifacts for millennia.  He was passed from owner to owner and eventually recognized for what he was.  He was worshipped by an ancient cult, constantly stoked with fire while in darkness.  Once each month when the moon faded from the night sky completely the cult would chant from the ancient texts.  Finally, after hundreds of years he finally hatched and as reward for their service he happily slaughtered all of them and feasted on their flesh.  They were all harrowed, he cracked their bones and gnawed upon their marrow all save for a single red headed woman.  Of the cult she was deemed of little import but there was something about her, a hunger for power he recognized and felt a kinship to. 

Power 1: Breath Weapon Assumption, Reign can eat the heart of another dragon and absorb its elemental breath weapon ability giving him the ability to use any manner of breath weapon except for a raw divine light.  
Weakness: Raw Divine Light is doubly as effective against Reign.
