I'll agree to that, Shadowrun is as fantasy as I like it- and I still get kinda turned off of it when it starts getting too deep into the magic fantasy aspect. I like my cyberpunk nice and gritty and dystopian and fucked. I was never too much a fan of the shamanistic stuff either. Physical adepts? thats fine, Mage? sure why not. Maybe just go straight tech and call a fireball a swarm of incendiary flying nanobots. As much as this is a cyberpunk story influenced by shadowrun, shadowrun it is not. Metatypes are a definite no for me.
