Gender: Male Personality: Korrey is, in general, an excitable puppy dog of a man. He trusts and loves easily and with little restraint, a trait that can only end horribly one of these days when he places this trust in the wrong person. A thrill seeker of possibly suicidal proportions, Korrey has about as much self preservation as a living bomb, and when given the chance, is likely to cause as much collateral damage as one. His one and only real requirement in anything he does is that it must be somewhat stimulating, and that can range from magical researching to dungeon crawling to fighting areas chock full of magical monstrosities just for the fun of it. While at heart a noble soul who loves to help people, Korrey has the attention span of a child and a level of self-centered thinking to match. If it doesn't stimulate him, then unless the situation is truly dire, it'll be hard for him to offer much investment or effort to the thing that needs doing, unless someone puts a mighty tantalizing carrot on the end of that particular stick. Appearance: When one first meets Korrey, they are likely to notice 3 things right of the bat about his appearance, the most prominent of which is that he's practically a giant of sorts, standing at around 6'6 though with a more lean, wiry frame then that height would suggest. In fact, without clothing, he'd look completely malnourished from the thinness of his body alone, but along with this unfortunate looking figure is an equally unfortunate skin coloration of a sickly pale white which is occasionally broken up by some glowing red veins. The final thing one would notice about him is that his eyes and hair both retain the coloration of deep scarlet red and deep black, making for quite a haunting sight for most. In further detail, one could see that his face seems like it could've been fairly attractive at one point or another in a roguish pretty boy sort of way, but whatever process his world's God uses to make his Reborn tends to leave them looking the worse for wear. His hair is short, cut in such a choppy fashion that it's easy to see that he's been doing it himself and doing it badly. Very badly. As for clothing, Korry goes for a light set up of a loose fitting raggedy tunic, some leather breeches, and a large hooded cloak that he can hide his huge pole-like form rather effectively, helping him to stand out a bit less in a crowd. Powers: Korrey's magic is a rather unstable form of Sorcery that mainly focuses around the powers of dimensional entropy, but also in a bit of atomic restructuring and manipulation. Due to the lack of magical energies in this plane, however, Korrey's ability to use his magic is much less expansive due to the fact that dimensional strength of this plane is, as a result, much weaker and more fragile in comparison. As such, what he can safely do without causing dangerous ruptures in space time is very minimal until he can figure out a way to attune his magical energies to this world. Due to this weakening of his abilities, Korrey has access to only three 'combat spells' at the moment, of which one is considered a forbidden spell that he has never used and isn't likely to use unless the stakes are extremely high. The first is known as Entropic Touch, which makes it so that his body becomes a conduit for highly unstable magical frequencies, and contact by any matter that hasn't been properly enchanted or reinforced against it will undergo a sudden structural degradation. What this means in layman's terms is that this spell allows him to weaken the physical resistances and strength of whatever he touches as long as it's made of matter. As a result of this, they become more vulnerable to physical forms of damage, such as punches, kicks, bullets, etc. It also causes a bit of cellular breakdown in biological organisms, leading to a rather nasty bit necrosis in the afflicted area. His other Spell is Atomic Reinforcement, in which he calls upon his magical energies to fill in and solidify the spaces within a preppared vessel's atomic structure and solidify, thus increasing the density of said vessel by a good amount. This is most often used on Korrey's arms in order to give his wild punches a much stronger impact, enabling him to crush something a steel beam within two punches with only a mild effort. This magic has the nasty side-efffect of causing the vessel to rapidly deteriorate once the spell ends, as the strain upon the vessel's atomic structure proves too much for the atomic bonds to withstand. This is even more apparent when used on a biological vessel, as the target starts to degrade before the spell even ends, with an average up time of around 2-5 minutes before his arms literally come apart at the seams, depending on how much punching he's doing. His final spell isn't one granted to him by his magical skill set, but which is given to all Reborn upon their awakening. It's known simply as 'Devour', and requires two things to happen before it can be used. First, Korrey needs to maintain contact with the subject throughout it's uptime, and Second, the target must submit to him. Now submit can mean a variety of things, but in general, it means that the target in question must be capable of surrendering themselves, willingly or unwillingly, to Korrey, either through defeat or being overpowered, or whatever else the case maybe. If these two requirements have been met, then the spell can be activated, allowing Korrey to heal and improve his desiccated body back to what it was like when he was living for a limited time, in exchange for devouring the target's continued existence and future. What this means is that, from that point onward, the target is erased from reality. However, Korrey isn't likely to use this outside of certain story beats due to the fact that it's tied to his ultimate purpose and would mostly be used much, much later in the story. Korrey's final major power is his status as a Reborn means that he's basically immortal, or at the very least mostly unkillable. The way this works is that Korrey's soul is held within a small crystal situated somewhere around his neck/sternum area, and this gem is also what animates his entire body. Without it, the physical body would simply be an unliving corpse. With the crystal, Korrey becomes a rather horrifying juggernaut of sorts, as he feels neither hunger, nor pain, nor much of anything in regards to his body. As such, he tends to throw himself into danger without care, due to the fact that his body can be reconstituted at the end of every day by taking in energy from it's surrounding or the nearest .
