The idea of coming to Hogwarts gave him a wonderful escape from Scandinavia. That and he had some other things that were just… holding him back, so moving to London and starting to teach at a school outside of his home area. He listened closely to her explanation as they walked towards the Great Hall, the snow haired man nodded along with her. “That would make sense. You’re certainly have nerve with the way you talk to people.” He said with a chuckle to his voice as he gave her a gentle nudge with his elbow. He honestly found like he had made a friend on his first day at Hogwarts. “And I must have ambition to antagonize you more.” He said with a cheeky grin before he followed her into the Great Hall. The hall was buzzing with the chatter of the fellow professors and it wasn’t a surprise that the last seats open were next to each other. After pulling out Fianna’s chair as if it was a natural action, he offered sat down next her with the herbology professor next to him. They instantly started chatting before Minerva made another announcement, a reminder that the house heads needs to be ready with their speeches for their first years when they all arrive at the common rooms. This was news to Gabrial as his expression changed to one of surprise. “Whelp, guess I’m making a trip to the library after this…” He muttered to himself before the table expanded with food. Delighted like a young child he began to pile things onto his plate. “Wow! Hogwarts is great!” He said with a grin as he spoke to Fianna. “At Durmstrang we hunted for half the week for our meals and the other have was catered by the surrounding town so half was good food the other half was… well it was good but it wasn’t this!” Oh the joy in his face was more than one could describe in words. “Your house elves are amazing! Even my school lacked them. Muggles called what I went through ‘Bootcamp’.”
