As girls flooded into the school before Orientation, Nero watched from the roof as he stood balanced atop the chain-link fence that enclosed the uppermost floor of the building. He held no expression as he watched all kinds of people filter in through the gates, all united in the powers that they wield yet unique in the same regard. He held a mild curiosity as to which one of them he would be paired with in regards to cohabitation, one Valerie Kross aka Violet Vortex, but he was never given an adequate description beyond a Third Year student. He stayed in that position for a long time, watching as all manner of girls arrived... some in more audacious fashion than others. Once the girls had dispersed a little, and the flow of new arrivals had reduced, he took a long stride forward... and fell. With a unusually relaxed posture, he fell through the shadow of the building, out of sight of the other students, and opened his wings at the last second, slowing himself enough to lightly impact the ground, unsettling the dust on the ground but causing no damage. He made his way inside the school, unperturbed by the curious or out-right suspicious looks from the girls around him. He was well aware he stood out, for many reasons. The fact that he appeared male, in civilian clothing, not to mention the soft glow behind his purple eyes and the blackened nails and jewellery indicative of a possible delinquent. He reached the dorms without much fuss, a stern gaze enough to move most of the girls that blocked him out of the way, and went to unlock the room he had been assigned. He had hoped to meet the girl that had informally become his handler, but she had apparently decided to head elsewhere. Not particularly disconcerted by the turn of events, he was content to simply wander the halls until a loud crash echoed from within the dorms. He turned his gaze in that direction and raised an eyebrow, but then turned away disinterested, assuming that was a regular occurrence for a school such as this. From what he knew of human development, putting a lot of hormonal teenage girls with superhuman abilities in on place would inevitably lead to that happening eventually, so why not the first day? Susan's... the Headmistress's announcement caught his attention and he finally took note of his location near the library, before heading towards the courtyard as instructed. In the courtyard, Nero was careful to move around the crowd, quietly taking a place nearer to the back. He was momentarily distracted, however, as a bird flew over, tainted lightly with the scent of a Demon. He frowned, watching the bird, until he stumbled and broke his concentration and knocked lightly into a girl with bright orange hair, Ginger he believed the humans called it, and a slightly more masculine figure that some of the others. Steadying himself and taking a slight step back, turned to look at her. "Ah, My Apologies."
[@Jaded]
