Huh, Wolf's Halberd has holy element too. I wonder if there's any Machina melee combatants who DON'T have a holy weapon.. Machina with Holy Attacks: Grafdakka: Holy Chainsaw (If for some reason he brought that body instead of the reality break chainsaw) Mecha Maids: Shizuka's stuff and Gwynn's gear Eos: Amaterasu Heart Wolf: Celestial Silver Halberd Ni-Mu: Can make copies of Cydone's sword, and is mini Eos so maybe can do the holy lasers too. Henry: If for some reason he needed holy instead of the Cheater's Blade or Mjolnir, he could make it with the silver eyes. Bonesword: Honor Strike, that says it is not holy, but it's anti-demon light, so... Yeah, still counting it. Maceroy: His Shock lance is Holy type. Machina without Holy Attacks: Alexi: Has weak ass ice magic but otherwise can't cover that gap. Utada: Actually uses sensible machina gear. What? Lillian: Alchemist stuff, and happyversed anyway. Unit-T: Is mecha godzilla, and thankfully not mecha jesus godzilla. Harvester: Doesn't have holy attacks yet. But can probably acquire them pretty easily. So, discounting Lillian for being Happyversed, that's a 9/4 Machina having holy attacks, and 10/3 as soon as Harvester rips the arms off an angel.
Actually, this is kind of a grievous situation, indeed. The Machina are not only better at killing the Demons than the Angels, but they are getting progressively immune to everything in the story, ESPECIALLY Demons, ESPECIALLY a certain someone I'll not name to not reignite the discussion of yesterday, who people are doing their best and even more to neuter away into oblivion. At this point, the Demons have been cornered in such a way that they were left only with their faction's disadvantages, but no strength whatsoever. They do have one character that can work miracles for them, despite the rest of the Demons having fallen behind the curve of the Machina upgrades and their innate weakness to the Angels, which is even more aggravated by the Angel's meta of quality over quantity, but then again, look at what happened yesterday when the obvious was mentioned. Said Demon will be changed, instead of discarded, but this will tip the odds towards the Machina in a freaking supermassive way. Doesn't matter either, since I saw yesterday that there's no way to avoid people going the neuter route, there's no point in keeping her like she's now, regardless of efficiency. Either way the fact is that the Machina are insanely powerful as is. One thing I can guarantee is that Eos will not give a bent screw to any of them, for as much as that maybe OOC to her, since the bigger culprit of this is the difference between her behavior and that of the other faction leaders. So yeah... no outside upgrades for the Machina. I'll get an IC explanation for this involving KC-00032 being sabotaged, just so that it doesn't look like Eos suddenly became as apathetic as the other leaders... once more. Either that, or a certain other thing I have to discuss with [@TheWindel], concerning Eos' secrets.
Angels with Holy Attacks Saef: Adding holy magic onto machina stuff is pretty much his thing, but is ALSO a holy type caster. Zak: Uses both regular and holy fire. Flos: Despite being a Fallen Angel has a ton of angelic type attacks, because they're almost all melee amplifications of his angelic weapon. Sapphire: ONLY has holy element attacks. Miyu: Happiversed, but her thing was like Saef, adding holy element onto machina stuff. Omega: Truth and Justice fire holy elemental attacks. Dorafraki: Mentions that her power has holy origins, but all her attacks are actually lightning and storm based. Still, we'll count it. Iona: Does she really count as an angel? Still, she's a master of all holy magic. Angels without Holy Attacks Juno: Does she really count as an angel? Still, sword is spacial type, not holy, and all her attacks so far shown are gravity type, not holy. Zeruel: Only has one actual potentially holy type attack (eye beams) and it seems to just be a regular explosion. Eve: The Lance might be holy, but only says it has fire. And none of her fire moves mention any holy element. And her backstory has her biologically similar to a demon anyway. Abigail: NPC now, but her elemental attacks are dreams, not holy. Ananta: The Ofuda MIGHT count, but they're really not an attack. No actual mention of holy type attacks or that the Rakshasa's blade have holy element. Still, happiversed, so doesn't count. ??? Deva: It is unknown whether Deva's chair type attacks count as holy. 7:4 Angels having holy attacks, and I'm willing to bet Deva's are holy for 8:4. Still, comparitively, 10:3 vs 8:4 for taking the more generous assumption for both, the Machina have a higher ratio of people with holy attacks than the Angels.
You forgot Diana. Her Dragon attacks and sword(s) are all Holy elemental. At this point she can likely do more damage to the Machina than to the Demon with her attacks, though. Given that targeting the Demons at this point is just kicking the dead dog and the Machina have an irrational number of non-Machina on their side.
