"Long has there been the desire to tap into the Throne for use of its powers, of the familiar manifestations of the Heroic Spirits of ages gone by...yet we never expected such power to seek us out instead. Even if it was only for a fraction of a second so immeasurably small, an even smaller line in the sand was drawn dividing us from something...otherworldly. The incarnation of evil itself is at the door, peering in and gnashing its teeth in undulating desire to consume. To Connect. To Shatter as it has always done. Right now, the Holy Grail all Magus have sought after has manifested and sealed itself off in fear of this...beast. We've no means to defend ourselves, save for our final Countermeasure. And so, we plead to the Throne. Beg of it to spare us. And...it listened. A War wages for the Crown of Heroes, and here we have received the ephemeral shards of power that allow mere men and magus alike to stand against the impossible. Here...is where we stand, or we fall." -Director of the Muninn Anti-Servant Foundation, Matias Ansgar In a world without a ritual to call forth the Christened Cup filled with Humanity's wishes and the blood of the truest saint, a corrupt force from beyond attempts to seize it for itself. To fill it with itself, and to plunge a new world into Staying Night forever with a single wish. Now, its just a matter of humans versus the impossible, with all the power in the world sealed in a bit of magic "cardboard". So, since that probably didn't tell you anything at all about what this RP would be about, lemme put my pretentious goggles down to actually explain some shit! To start with, this RP will be set in the setting of the Fate universe, albeit in a world parallel to those who've been established, since canon is finicky and all that. It follows some of the conventions of the Prisma Illya spin off series, featuring the "Class Cards" system, where you'll receive a single card representing the essence of a Heroic Spirit from History, or fiction. There are some stipulations here and there as to what can and cannot be used, but I'll go over those. Basically, you will be playing the role of a person, either with or without magical experience that recieved a Class Card that fits their personality of the classes: Saber, Lancer, Archer, Rider, Assassin, Caster, Berserker, and Shielder. By possessing that Card, you gain the power to fight against the forces of an unseen evil from another world trying to mess your shit up and ruin everything. With the powers of a hero at your side, there's no way you can lose! Maybe. I dunno, depends on whether you do something dumb or not.
In this rp, you don't have any sort of device or staff to transform, unlike the main characters of the spinoff series. As such, you just have to carry the card physically on you and choose to either close your fist around it to "Include" the servant's weapon, or shove it into your chest to "Install" their power. In addition, there will be multiple Servant Class Cards that will appear, that are obtainable to the players. In addition, every character will have a "Class Affinity" with Cards of the class that they started with. IE: If you were to start with a Saber Class Card, and received an Assassin one later on, the Assassin one would still be usable, but nowhere near as powerful if it had just been used by the player with Assassin Affinity. More systems and the like will be introduced as the characters grow in experience and power, and if I come up with something I think is cool enough to force you guys to use like the jackass I am.

The setting for the rp takes place in the year 2020 in the Port City of Junyo in the Kanto Prefecture. Boasting a population of roughly 500,000, the city is like any other, save for the fact that its basically sitting on a fault line between the encroaching forces of corruption and us. There are plenty of restaurants to visit in the area, along with a plethora of vistas for viewing the ocean from high up. Located near the center of the sprawling urban area lies the HQ of Muninn Foundation, which puts on a front of being a simple pharmaceutical company while working to keep the nature of magic hidden from the citizens while combating the threats that pour forth from the Fault. Many magus work for the company, although they do have some Non-Magus employees working under them, most with full knowledge of their activities and providing support for the company's activities in various ways, such as transportation and research.

B̫̮̞̖̲̲̬̔ä́̊̓d̸̝̦͆͒ ̼̦͉̬͖̼͕ͪ̏̈́ͮͪ̋́ṡ̖̄ͧ͠h̤̟̩̗̱͕î͚̊͒ͩt̢̠̟̙̟̘͔̝̓̑ ̃̀͗̈́ͅm̟̰̖̭̺̝͚ͣ̈̅ͧͤ̌aͦn͕̺͕̳̬͠. And, Servants that are either summoned by an outside force, or users of other class cards that are trying to cause trouble. Lethal force is authorized against those who've caused a great deal of damage or have been overtaken by their Card. Defeated Servants/Servant Card users may give players the opportunity to take their cards for themselves, adding to their arsenal. Heck, maybe sometimes you'll even wanna fight amongst each other. Which, y'know, is fine. Not like literal unspeakably horrible evil is trying to touch the world's butt or anything.

Well...for starters: -Mash Kyrielight is Banned, seeing as she isn't a true Heroic Spirit and doesn't exist in this rp's universe. -Swimsuit Servants and Holiday Servants are banned for obvious reasons. [s]get your waifu fix in other ways[/s] -If an instance of a servant already exists in the rp, barring some exceptions, all other iterations of them are banned. EX: If Arthur Saber exists, then a Class Card for Arthur Lancer cannot exist in the rp. The exception to this are the Hassans. -No Lily Servants, or younger versions such as Alexander, rather than Iskandar. -Only the aforementioned eight classes of Saber, Lancer, Archer, Rider, Assassin, Caster, Berserker, and Shielder are able to become usable class cards to the characters of the rp, barring future exceptions. -Demon Servants aren't able to become Class Cards, as they're a bit too nasty for the Throne to think would be a good idea to shove into someone's soul. -Memes -I will allow servants after the year 1900 on a case by case basis, as Audey Murphy is a fucking legend and I'd be sad if he was banned. I ain't making myself sad. -Any of the versions of Nameless Archer -Zhuge Liang (Waver), but if you want to make Zhuge Liang something else, go right ahead -Any of the "Mysterious Heroine X" variants -Joke servants such as Jaguar Man -Servants that are just characters from other Type-Moon works EX: Ryougi Shiki -Quetzacoatl -Ishtar -Gilles De Rais -Merlin -Nursery Rhyme Banned for First Class Cards: -Any Incarnation of Vishnu -Vlad III/Dracula/The Impaler -Gilgamesh(Do you really wanna be called a mongrel day 1 of the rp?) -Hercules/Heracles -King Hassan -Achilles -Scathach -Atilla -Stheno -Ozymandias -Enkidu As for what IS allowed...pretty much anything else you could think of. If you wanna make an iteration of an existing servant in a class they've never been that makes sense, or wanna make a servant for a character from history/legend that you think is super dope and doesn't already exist, then go ahead! I want people to play what they want, unless what you want is random bikini clad genderbent historical figures. Also, do keep in mind that starting off, servants are going to be a bit weaker than they would be normally when in a vessel of their own. Even so, I've placed some of the more "Overpowered" servants that are still somewhat able to be fought to be obtainable later, just not at the start. In terms of how exactly you guys will obtain more cards, well, that's more or less gonna be based on whether people suggest them to me or not. I'm mostly going to try and throw a mixed, balanced bag of servants out when its time for someone to get a new card, but if someone requests a specific servant, I'll see what I can do to weave them into the narrative somehow.

I'd prefer if people weren't super amazeballs great at magic, given that the general age range for the rp is going to have characters be between 14-24, but it is certainly alright to have a character be a magus with a bit of training. Just...keep in mind that most things you can do as a magus are going to be very ineffective against other users of Class Cards, or servants roaming about. Also, no being from an established "Main Character" magus family such as the Tohsakas, unless you have a really good idea that'll convince me otherwise.

1. Be excellent to each other. I'm the only dick allowed here. 2. Write to your fullest. I'm asking at least a sufficient amount here based on what you got to work with. Not gonna set an ideal length, but given that this is Casual, I got a feeling you all know when a post is lacking or too long for its own good. 3. If you're gonna fight, make it fair. No auto-hitting other people if it PvP does initiate. 4. I reserve the right to be a dick later too! I might need to change up some rules, balance some servants that players have, but I'm doing it mostly for the sake of keeping things running smoothly. If I have to nerf your servant a bit, it really is nothing personal. 5. Be active and converse if you can! Out of character chatter in the OOC and idea brewing are what keep rps alive, so if you have an idea, don't be afraid to share it. 6. Don't be a weirdo. Keep the RP PG when it comes to romance or bodily dismemberment. If for some reason you wanna stick your dick in a card, that's not my business, but it is my business to tell you where to do it. 7. What? But I wanted that servant! When it comes time to grab a Servant card, unless you're all in mutual agreement, whoever is sensibly able to reach it first gets it. If this creates problems, I'm just gonna have it go to whoever I decide deserves it/is a good fit for it. Could always trade for it. 8. Life happens. I know this well, that people may find themselves having to take a leave of absence, or find themselves without a way to post or what not. All I ask is this: Just...tell me. Alright? I can't stop everything while wondering where someone who's been gone for a week is. I won't necessarily write you out of the story after a week, but if you're 100% not online on RPG for a month, then I may have to remove your character from the story. But, if I know that you're gonna be gone, then I can do something with your character to make sure that they don't wind up getting shanked in an alley for their cards. 9. Hands off other people's stuff! You cannot use another person's character, class card, or anything else belonging to their brain without their explicit consent. I however reserve the right to move characters around in my posts to keep things going. 10. Slow down there Buckaroo Bonzai! Post orders may slow things down, but it does help to make sure other people's replies are not lost to the void of 1x1 going on. If a chain of posts between two people starts to get too long, say having four back and forth posts without anyone else responding, that's not okay. 11. I'm an idiot. So uh...just kinda expect mistakes. If you got to the end, Insult me in your character sheet somewhere!

Appearance/Image: Name: Age: Gender: Height/Weight: Personality: Character Alignment: (This goes off the Fate/DnD scale of Good, Evil, Chaotic, Neutral, and Lawful, however being Chaotic Evil doesn't necessarily mean you're a bad person.
