Geode didn't nod, but his expression detailed progress. The mechanical prison turned towards the blackboard and extended one arm towards a silhouette that looked like Jenso. Ki, in its rawest form, is simply why defines us as individuals. Any living thing must have Ki in order to... Well, exist consciously. Even some plants with minimal levels of sentience can sometimes develop a spark, something I like to call a Fleeting Ki Crash. This type of spark is similar to the burst of energy that living things release upon dying. It allows a collective Ki to break through the fabric of reality, and sink into the void, which is the endless nothingness between worlds, an energy type that consumes all." Geode tapped Jenso's silhouette. "Jenso's Ki is the most common. Mikey referred to is by colour, but that was silly of him. Ki can change in colour between white and yellow rather easily within the natural spectrum of Ki, and if we were to define Jenso, he would be defined as having heroic Ki. I know that sounds too appropriate, but trust me when I say, I don't use the term Heroic to refer to his actions or destiny. Having heroic-type Ki does not make you any more morally obligated to do the 'right' thing. Heroic Ki is simply more reactive with emotions than any other sort of Ki. It has some of the most potential, while also being restricted by very glaring weaknesses. For example... Jenso's particular sub-class of Heroic Ki has found itself most accustomed to Anger, Hope and Courage. It is active, and reactive, allowing it to grow constantly, seemingly without a clear limit. Although Jenso over clocks himself constantly, and has damaged his soul quite significantly, his Ki type has the perfect composition for this. Thus, it has granted him access to astronomical strength and durability. He is the most resilient of us all, simply because his Ki has gone through the wringer so many times, likely from birth." Geode stopped and moved on to Bruce and Alvios. "These two also possess heroic Ki. Bruce's particular composition has allowed him to build up overwhelming energy reserves, likely through some kind of repression, whether it be through discipline, or emotional baggage, is not my concern. Due to this, he main never exhaust his energy supply in a normal fight, and maintains rather amazing stamina and composure, but his attack power is gimped by that same methodology. That being said, his Ki takes a much lighter tone, and is much easier to manipulate, granting him easy access to manifesting physical reparations with his Ki. This is why he can create weapons so easily." "Alvios on the other hand has the opposite problems and strengths. His Ki is absolutely explosive, making him one of the strongest outright attackers in our group. It's so powerful that it can actually convince other Ki sources to repair their hosts. At least, that what I theorise. I'm still not sure how his healing abilities work, they're actually quite outside my realm of understanding. Still, this is why his Ki is the most radiant, and darkest in coloration. It is dense, powerful, and easily expelled from his body in large amounts. Of course, this comes at the expense of control, as you might expect, making him less powerful than he might seem." Geode moved towards Jeff. "Jeff's Ki is not of a Heroic variety. It falls under the second classification of Ki, Villainous Ki. Again, it has nothing to do with morals. But, unlike Heroic Ki, Villainous Ki is far more reactive to thought, and the arcane network. This makes it extremely difficult to control without a specific type of mind. Additionally, due to the fact that it cannot be improved in sheer power, or magnitude, the only way to improve Villainous Ki, is to improve one's control over it. This kind of Ki appears in all sorts of colours, but always maintains one crucial component to its makeup. It has far more potential that normal Ki in terms of flexibility, and can create some of the most powerful Arki components. Even though Jeff lacks the explosive power of Heroic Ki, his Ki is far more accustomed to arcane fusion, and has given him far better control over his body, which has improved his speed and agility astronomically. And then there's you," Geode groaned, slapping his hand against Oz's silhouette, "You do no have Ki." "Well, that's a lie," Geode admitted, after a brief paused, "You do have Ki, or rather, you were conceived with Ki. But now, your Ki has taken a new form, that cannot be considered Ki." "I'll make it simple for you. Ki, arcane energy, and void energy make up all matter and energy in the multiverse. They have rules that cannot be broken. Arki is not a true fusion, but can break some of those rules. However, when fusing void energy with Ki or arcane energy, the results are..." Geode shook his head slightly and tapped the last silhouette on the blackboard. It was a collection of figures that resembled the order of chaos. "These monsters."
