Shamir observed the Arcanium's halls, awestruck. So many things to do and to learn and even just to react to. Of course, most of said reactions are just dumbstruck shock and admiration that a place so beautiful can exist. Keep yourself together, Shamir, he thought, Now, try to analyze what sort of knowledge you need. Healing and Protection, right? You might also want to learn military tactics and administration. Just because you were usurped does not mean that you have to stop your regular studies. He then noticed Alexander of Tyrania; being a Royal himself, he had been well-schooled in the identities of foriegn Kings and Princes, even those of far lands. The young man knew what Tyrania was, and while that kingdom had a reputation for aiding coups and installing client leaders, Shamir vaguely remembered that his own country was far enough that its own coup was probably not aided by foriengers. Probably. Nevertheless, this was an opportunity in the making, a political opportunity. Plus, the other Prince seemed like a decent guy, if the vague rumors were right. Walking towards Alex, Shamir would say, "Hello, umm, Your Highness? My name is Prince Shamir of Abazin, recently usurped from his place and position by an unlawful coup. I have come to this place to learn Magic, but I also know of the 'fame' of your own nation, and while I have a personal...fear of it and what it might do, realpolitik demands that I swallow personal qualms and seek out its aid." A slight bow. "Basically, I want to talk thrones and their regaining; if you or your father can support me on my bid to become Sultan of Abazin, I will be happy to grant trade privileges and troops for future endaevors." Then, feeling ashamed of himself, Shamir would say, "or, you know, we can just become friends..."
