Ryder was quite surprised when a new alien showed up. Many of the soldiers turned their guns on it. Ryder signaled them to stand by. "You clearly are not the enemy we were just fighting. Ryder walked away contacting Jericho.

"Great job Jericho. If you need/want any weapon I'll have it built and sent over to you with any upgrades you want. Just contact my SAM with the details. Call it a finder's fee." Ryder met Avitus at the mercenaries ship. "So a prisoner. What we know, doesn't look like a Kett, they eat their dead, their eyes are attuned to the dark." Ryder watched it. "Record everything. When not if that thing speaks I want every syllable recorded, analyzed, psycho-analyzed, I want every possible analysis performed, the human & turian Sam will help. I want two answers above all else, are they kett and where they took our people. They may not look like the kett, but they can be a different clan or whatever that evolved differently. They maybe a failed evolutionary path. Hell they maybe a special evolutionary path just for this planet since it has more night than daylight hours. If they are kett and made especially for this planet, we need to find out what is so special about this planet pronto. I had SAM contact the Nexus they will be rushing over outpost defense turrets. With those we can divert manpower away from defense to offense and spying as necessary."
