Name: Ikki Yamanaka, "Spirit of Purity" Age: 18 Birthday: February 14 Magic: Arc of Life Arc of Life is a Caster-Type Lost Magic. It allows the user to heal anyone both physically and spiritually regardless of how deep the wound is. It is a natural enemy of Curse Magic and Death Magic, allowing the caster to protect oneself and others from curses, diseases, and the like. Additionally, the caster can purify tainted souls and purify other natural and magic-inflicted ailments as well. The caster can also emit an aura that surrounds its allies to provide automatic healing and other support-type buffs, but of course healing and buffs are stronger when the caster applies them itself. The caster can conjure domes and spheres that act as a shield from magical and physical attacks. Using this spell can restore life back to inanimate yet alive objects like plants, but it cannot grant life to completely inanimate objects like stones, chairs, etc. Offensively, a caster can use the magic on itself to boost its fighting capabilities and help make its attacks stronger. Drawbacks: + Restoring life to others requires a great deal of energy. Each time the user casts a spell using this magic, it will automatically make the user sleep an extra hour the next time it sleeps. The caster who used the magic before he slept cannot be awakened and will not wake up until the extra sleeping hour is done. A caster who didn't use the magic will have a normal sleep instead. + Using Arc of Life on the same target too much might cause said target to trigger Arc of Life: Supernova, a phenomena that causes the target to transform into pure energy and explode, harming anyone caught within the radius. + Using this magic to a target who is a demon or a dark entity will instead hurt them. + This magic cannot heal a broken heart. + Most of all, it is ultimately taboo to use Arc of Life to bring the dead back to life, although it is still unknown whether this magic is capable of doing it or not. Despite being a type of Lost Magic, the Yamanaka Clan always made sure to keep on practicing this magic and passing it to the next generation to ensure the magic won't be entirely forgotten. The Arc of Life was considered as Lost Magic not because of its power, but because of the abuse of it. Ikki's ancestors were once slaves to evil kings and other royalties, keeping them against their will, forcing them to not be able to sleep and using their magic to ensure the life longevity of the royalties while making sure they stay healthy and protected from diseases. The Yamanakas finally had enough: despite having a pacifist nature, they valiantly fought back against their superiors and fled to a faraway land so they can finally live in freedom and prosperity. Magic Level: A History: Ikki is born to a clan full of life and vigor. Ever since he was young, he was taught to value life in any forms, which is why he grew up not knowing the meaning of the word "hate". What he found quite ironic though, is the tradition of his clan to practice various forms of martial art. After all, if the Yamanaka values life, why would they be doing something that could harm it? He learned the answer to his question when he was ten, where it was a tradition to tell the history of their clan once they reached the age of ten. From then on, Ikki never wondered again and made sure to attend his martial arts practice every single day, proving to be a prodigy even at a young age. One noticeable thing about him, however, is that he's always mistaken as a girl due to his long hair and feminine-like appearance. Those who are aware of his sex might say that he's a beautiful man. He was never bullied because of his looks: instead, he has been a love interest of many. Ikki is never fazed by his looks as it doesn't actually affect him that much at all, though he gets really flustered when his friends make him change into girls' clothes and fawn over him for his beauty. Personality: If kindness can kill, then Ikki is a genocidal maniac. His optimistic outlook on life, his kind and loving personality, as well as his smile and eyes that are filled with happiness and sincerity earned him the nickname "Soul of Purity". Skilled hand-to-hand combat 2. Can respond quickly if any of his allies need healing and support 3. Can get along well with people Three Weaknesses: 1. Too kind 2. Afraid of the dark 3. Sometimes letting his emotions get the most of himself Greatest Love: anyone and everyone (he believes anyone is capable of kindness and love) Motivation: his drive to live an exciting and meaningful life Appearance: Additional Details: + Using Arc of Life produces flowers and petals that is unique to each caster of the magic. In Ikki's case, he produces golden energy and sakuras. + Despite Ikki's complaints, his family insisted on giving him a dagger to defend himself from danger. Because of his peaceful and kind nature, he swore to only use it in life and death situations. + Ikki, without using the magic, normally sleeps for about eight hours. Once when he was 16, he slept for a day and a half straight from using Arc of Life because he accidentally food-poisoned his family, relatives, and friends when they ate his cooking. + Ikki is a terrible cook.
