[b][u]Appearance [/u][/b]
[indent]Ethan stands at just over six foot with a lean muscular body. He has dirty blonde hair that is cut relatively short on the back and sides and quite longer on top which is usually kept messy. A small, slightly patchy beard has started to grow on Ethan's face since he's been with the Oathbreakers. People usually consider Ethan to be a good looking young man apart from having a big nose and ears that stick out quite a bit. He has dark green eyes and an easy smile that seems to calm people down.[/indent]

[b][u]Background [/u][/b]
[indent]As the sixth son of Bann Teoric, Ethan was never going to be the Bann of West Hill. Being the youngest member of his siblings with five older brothers and two older sisters, it was hard for Ethan to ever know what he wanted to be. His two oldest brothers, Sam and Ed, had already been fighting in the rebellion before Ethan was even born with the younger of the two dying at just the age of sixteen in battle. After them came Catherine who was married off to the Arl of South Reach. The third oldest son, Rolet, was very intelligent and stayed at West Hill managing the finances of the castle and it's surrounding lands. The twins, Amelia and Ralph, both joined the Chantry as sisters and brothers with the second to last brother, George, becoming a Templar. Teoric was a very religious man and tried to push Ethan into becoming either a Brother of the Chantry or a Templar but the more Teoric pushed the more Ethan resisted, believing that he should have the chance to choose what he wanted.

Growing up in West Hill, Ethan learned everything a Banns son would: History, Geography, Mathematics and Religion. He was capable at everything he learned but none of the subjects really stood out to him. The only thing he really liked doing was practising at swordplay. He mainly fought with a sword in his right hand and an axe in his left. He would fight as a child with his friends from the first thing in the morning until the sun went down. When he started to get older he started to wonder around the castle with his friends, the fortress was rumoured to be haunted as most of it had been abandoned from not having the man power. This started to get him into trouble with his Father as he used to break into all parts of the fortress, certain times he'd get caught by guards who used to take him straight to their Bann.

When he got to seventeen, he started to get bored of his very methodical lifestyle and wanted to do something more than just wondering around West Hill, practising at swordplay and being taught about different aspects of life. It took a whole year for his Father to agree to let him leave and travel the world, the main reason he actually allowed him to leave was the disappointment he felt in his son for not choosing a life devoted to The Maker and Andraste. Because of that reason the two didn't leave on good terms. 

For a few weeks before he went off travelling the world, he was taught how to make simple traps and fires in the forests surrounding West Hill, in case he ever needed to stay in the wilderness. He was given weapons and armour from the castle's smith, just to keep him safe and a few weeks after his eighteenth birthday he set off heading towards the capital, Denerim. From there he took a ship to the Free Marches and went to the different cities there and after that was Antiva, then he headed west. By the time he reached Nevarra, he'd already ran out of the money he'd been given. The first city he reached was Hasmal, he found work as a personal guard for a Royal to gain some more money but the job bored him even more than being in West Hill and soon heard about a group called the Oathbreakers situated in Hasmal.  It didn't take him long to sign up.[/indent]

[b][u]Personality [/u][/b]
[indent]This is probably Ethan's best quality, he can make a friend out of almost anyone. He is easy going, will be cool headed when it’s hectic, amazing at reading situations, has a good sense of humour and it takes a lot for him to get angry. The main downside to Ethan being like this is that he doesn't really take anything serious and usually jokes about serious situations which used to annoy his father and anyone else who had a similar personality to his father. Sometimes he can come across a bit too cocky and arrogant.[/indent]
