Name: Phillip Satō Age: 22 Gender: Male Height/Weight: 5'11 and 170 lbs. Personality: Phillip could be described as being very direct, never mincing his words and telling people how he sees it. If he doesn't like something, he'll let you know it and then explain why that is. Even when it might be better in that situation to lie, he'd prefer remaining silent than ever being dishonest. When he's given the chance to think, you can expect him to take that downtime to strategize and predict his opponent's future actions. However, when he fails to predict his opponent's actions, he has a tendency to become excited, thinking that this might become a fun battle of wits. When his enemy's only strategy is to use brute force though, Phillip can become upset, finding no enjoyment in the fight whatsoever unless some sort of thought is shown to be behind their actions. Character Alignment: Lawful Good Class Affinity: Saber Background: 22 years ago, Phillip was born to Mary Williams and Kaito Satō in Birmingham, England. Four years later, his parents would separate with his father moving back to his homeland of Japan and his mother staying in England, with Phillip flying back and forth between the two countries every year. At an early age, the young boy began showing interest in strategy games, a hobby that both parents were happy to support. When he gained enough experience that neither of them could ever hope to win a game against their son, he took his hobby to the competitive stage, starting with city, then county, then national, before finally world championships. Before his fame could really reach its height though, Phillip quit, telling the questioning press that he simply couldn't find the same enjoyment that he used to when first learning how to play. And so one of the youngest chess, shogi, go, etc. players at the time fell into obscurity. Phillip would lead and very normal and unspectacular life for several more years, continuing to travel between both parents' households until reaching the age of seventeen where he moved out to a prestigious university in the United States. After obtaining his bachelor's degree in History, he would put his expensive major to use by obtaining an entry level job at a local restaurant chain. Again, another uneventful year would go by until he received a disheartening phone call. His father had passed away to a heart attack. Arriving in the Port City of Junyo to attend his father's funeral and go over his will, this would be when Phillip would discover the strange card that would introduce him to a previously unknown world. It seemed to just fall into his lap as he sat alone on a park bench, reminiscing over his fondest memories, as if being dropped from the heavens itself. His curiosity caused him to turn over the Class Card, revealing the servant he had acquired. King Richard the Lionheart. Of course, not knowing anything about magic or servants, the young would place the card into the breast pocket of his shirt, intending to look it over more upon returning home. Instead, he would accidentally install it into himself, momentarily granting himself the powers of the Wandering King. Occupation: Part-timer at a fast food chain Known Magic: None Special Talents/Hobbies: Enjoys strategy games, including but not limited to chess, checkers, shogi, go, backgammon, XCOM, Total War, Starcraft, Crusader Kings, etc. Ambition: He wants to play against the best strategist from history.

Richard the Lionheart; Lawful Good Saber STR: B, AGI: C, END: C, MANA: B, LUCK: B, NP: B Noble Phantasm: Excalibur - Sword of Forever Distant Victory: Unlike the Noble Phantasm of King Artoria, Richard's Noble Phantasm doesn't allow him to manifest the legendary sword, but instead grants him the ability to transform any inanimate object he holds in his hand into a false recreation of Excalibur. However, despite it being weaker than the original, this also allows its charge times to be much quicker, letting him fire it in quick succession. Anti-Fortress; Targets: 500 people. Crusade - Shadows of The Most Trusted Protectors: This Noble Phantasm allows Richard to summon a small group of Heroic Spirits directly from the Throne of Heroes. Due to a lack of energy they cannot physically manifest, however they can still interact with the world around him through his shadow, deflecting attacks that come from his blind spots or providing helpful tools like weapons or magical items. Due to the unique nature that Masters have gained their Servants in this world, this Noble Phantasm takes a conscious effort to be in use and considerably drains Phillip's mana. Magecraft. Servant Biography: "In the past, he, Saladin and the leading Hassan-i-Sabbah at the time fought together against a Dead Apostle during the Third Crusade. He is known as the "Wandering King", not because he was always headed off to a battlefield or on his way back from one, but because he was the king who wandered over the border between history and myth, the last king with one foot in an age when faeries and runes were still out in the open." (There's no way I couldn't just copy this from his wiki page. I could never hope to describe how awesome that is in my own words.) Servant Personality: Richard is known for being very optimistic, even in the face of grim situations like torture. The king was also awarded the nickname "Oc e No" or "Yes and No" due to being very terse and abrupt, even with his closest companions and friends. He's quick to accept his failings whenever they may happen, finding it to be his duty to make up for his mistakes and repay any debts he may owe as soon as possible. A Noble Phantasm that is focused on "purging those against Liberty". Despite its original good intentions, this tool of execution was turned on many of the innocent bystanders suspected of wrongdoing and sentenced to the feared Guillotine. Much like Charles Henri Sanson, Robespierre's name is synonymous with the guillotine due to his prolific sentencing of it, allowing him to manifest it in the form of a large butcher's knife that inflicts deep cuts, causing terrible maledies and terrors to manifest within the mind of the afflicted. Secondly, the knife can be buried into the neck of a victim to simulate the force of a guillotine, being able to easily cleave through skin and bone to decapitate them. Include: A sharp butcher's knife that, while not possessing the power of Gliore de l'état, is incredibly sharp and durable. Install: Installing Robespierre gives the user access to Gliore de l'état, as well as adorning them in a fuchsia coat befitting the typical look the Jacobins had. Install Skills: Presence Concealment: E "All I do, I do in the name of the people": (?) A corrupted skill from the days Robespierre spent using the state's ideals as an excuse to enact his political reign. Causes his actions to be identifiable as both being within the boundaries of the law as proper, painless executions, but the evil in his deeds is plain to all. Indirectly, this makes him immune to reasoning with, as if he had Mad Enhancement E. Any Class Card containing a member of some sort of Nobility is viewed as Evil by him. Executioner: A+ Increases damage towards those of the Evil alignment, though Robespierre's interpretation of "evil" is incredibly skewed. Aptitude for Slaughter (Tools): E: Because he never truly fought for his life, Robespierre's proficiency with killing tools is barely above average. Install Appearance: Beyond the coat, little is changed about the person physically, save for seeming to have far better posture. Almost perfect, even. Servant Biography: A man who was born to bring Liberty to France, and paved the way for it in bloody revolution. A central figure of the Jacobin Club, and a powerful member of the Committee of Public Safety. Robespierre's infamous Reign of Terror to purge those against his ideals. A believer of The State being the most important thing above all else, Robespierre was ironically against the Death penalty, yet sent over 15,000 people to their deaths. His power grew so great even, that his own cohorts in the Public Safety Committee stopped his Reign before he could committ any more atrocities, and cement his power any further. With his head lopped off by the guillotine, Maximilien Robespierre's ambitions of ruling France and cementing himself and the State as the new Gods of France came to a timely end.
