He knew in an instant that this woman was beyond the point of listening to reason because as his irritation rose he knew hers had too, getting called in by some foreign patient who was in hospital under suspicious circumstances and showing annoying tendencies. He was out of luck. Then, the whole atmosphere changed. The electronic voice broke into the nurse's rant at him about his ignorance and idiocy, and she was gone without a word. It was scary. That woman was cold as ice and had zero patience, why on earth would such a code call for her to get out of there with such haste. He bit down on his lip gently before grabbing a handful of food viciously and jamming it into his mouth. With silence came fear and with fear came desperation. Dying in a hospital room defenesless and hurt wasn't how he intended for this to end. Well technically it was, but not murder, which seemed to be on the cards. He grabbed the tray with his left hand and gripped it, his only weapon as he lay there. he tried moving against the tubing, but it just caused discomfort. He gritted his teeth, awaiting the end of the silence and any sudden noises.
