∟ NAME: Dostya ∟ FIELD NAME: Weaver ∟ RANK: 16 ∟ CLASS: passive - requires specialised containment procedures* ∟ GENDER: F ∟ PHYSICAL PROFILE: Standing at 3 meters tall, currently only the upper half of her body remains human, her lower half she replaced with a heavily armed mechanical quadruped after suffering severe damage to her old legs in a prior mission. Her formerly black hair has slowly turned stark white as a side effect of modifications to her internal biochemistry. Her eyes have flat red disks containing complex recording equipment in place of irises and pupils. Close inspection of the rest of her human body will reveal similar alterations to her musculature (augmented with an unknown type of cables), nervous system(wires run along the main conduits of her nerves, particularly her spine) and skin (unnaturally pale with a metallic texture). Her voice has a slightly unnerving artificiality to it, like it’s really the machines talking rather than the girl they are installed on. ∟ PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE: In general, when not arm deep in machinery, has a cheerful and excitable demeanor that does not suit someone sporting several tones of metal. She has an almost obsessive dedication to self improvement, so she spends much of her free time either designing or installing new hardware. This is rather common among those with those of similar power sets, the knowledge within them leaves their minds is bursting at the seams with new things to create. That said, she does not resent being taken away from her lab to do missions, seeing them as good opportunities for field testing. She is something of an adrenaline junky in combat, aiming to push her body to breaking point in order to find flaws that can be corrected. Her obsession and recklessness are the reason she is classed as passive rather than safe(as her capacity for collateral damage are minimal), the as project staff sometimes need to use the threat of deactivation to get her to pay attention to their instructions. While she has a tendency to tamper with, remove or make herself immune to her control methods these do not appear to be for malicious intent but rather her obsession driving her to take unnecessary risks to continue research. Considering it took 3 months for the fact that she had become immune to the standard shock collar to come to light, during which no incidents were recorded, the project's staff are relatively confident in their safety around her, but have developed countermeasures just in case she goes rogue without her collar. In general she is rather content with her existence as property of the project due to the supplies she gets to work with and enemies she gets to test against, though she is not unsympathetic to those to whom the project's environment does not suit. ∟ ABILITIES: Cybernetic Tinker: She is one of a class of children who have intrinsic understanding of a specific type of advanced technology. It is unclear whether this is a higher capacity for learning/discovery for a field or if their brains come preloaded with schematics that they uncover through experimentation. In Dostya’s case she is an expert in the creation of advanced cybernetic augmentation, as well as their installation. Cybernetic affinity: Has never shown any instances of her body rejecting her advancements. She also exhibits rapid recovery times from surgery. Cybernetic enhancements(ongoing): ongoing improvements to herself have resulting in many improvements over baseline humans. Currently these provide: Super strength: even her augmented human arms can carry a massive weight and deliver crushing blows. Her purely mechanical limbs are even greater strength. Robo legs: she has 4 spider limbs ending in talons that let her run at high speed and leap high into the air. Crimson Blades: two sets of massive claws capable of slicing through steel Mechatendrils; two snake like devices which have end in bayoneted laser cutting beams. Iron skin: extremely durable due to her metallic exterior. Wired nerves: her nervous system is interwoven with a web of circuitry and wiring, allowing her to ignore pain and also react faster than a normal human. ∟ WEAKNESSES: Maintenance: nobody else understands her mechanisms as well as she does, as a result they cannot be rolled out on any kind of mass scale as once they break only she can properly repair them. EPM: electromagnetic pulses can render her stunned, paralysed, or dead depending on their intensity Overheating: running at full power for extended periods of time can result in her internal power source becoming incredibly hot and thus becoming less efficient. Without taking time to cool her systems will eventually overheat, crippling her ability to operate. Big: human environments are not built with cybernetic spider girls in mind. She is also rather a large target compared to most of her peers, making her often the target of attacks while simultaneously being less capable of avoiding them. *as a byproduct of her continuous self improvement she has rendered shock collars ineffective as a control method, meaning her collar is replaced with a series of EMP charges. Also she has a habit of dismantling her new collar when it gets in the way of operating on her spine, so personnel who deal with her are equipped with specialized EMP weapons as a, so far unused, contingency measure.
