"Wha-" Lady Arcana whirled when somebody just...[i]appeared[/i] in the hallway. She hadn't heard their approach at all, which was really something given how quiet the house was at this point. They were dressed in black, with their face covered in some sort of goggle-mask combo. She couldn't quite tell if it was a man or a woman, even as they drew closer and began fondling the door frame. They then swept past the both of them without a single word. "Um, [i]rude?"[/i]

"Just gonna blow us off, huh?" Arcana muttered, watching them shine a light across the walls and floors from their visor-thingy. While not that much could be seen from the walls, she immediately noticed that the light revealed a series of rather disturbingly large boot prints along the floor. They seemed to lead both to and from the bedroom door.

And then the stranger spoke. It was a deep tone, but something about it didn't sound quite natural. They claimed the one who did this was one of "theirs", whatever that meant, and that they were apparently called "The Electrocutioner".

"Wait, so you [i]know[/i] the one behind the murders here?"
