The World, August 20th, 1920.
[i]The first American Football League is formed of sixteen different teams (the teams you will make). The American people are excited to see where this new sport will go and are eager to cheer for their local teams. The sixteen teams are split into the Western Conference and the Eastern Conference, each with eight teams between them.
These are again split into northern and southern divisions.[/i]

[b]Gridiron Brawl[/b] is centered around you designing and controlling your own American Football team in a world analogous to our own. You will act as the owner of the team, choosing where your team is located, what their uniforms look like, what the name of the stadium they play in is, what players are on the team, who starts, how much they are paid, etc. 
Your main goal is, of course, to reach and win the Superbowl. To do this you will have to make sure you have a well rounded and put together team so that you can win against the other teams. A season is made up of four Preseason games that work as a way to test your team setup and see how well players work with your style of play. Once these games are over the Regular Season begins. During these 16 games your team will play against the other teams of the AFL. The more games you win the more likely you are to get into the Playoffs that year. To get into the Playoffs you have to be the top team in your division by winning the most games. The two second highest teams then compete for a position in the Wild Card slot, which will be the team that plays against their division's winner. The winner of each round then advances through the brackets until only two teams remain in the Super Bowl. The winner of that game becomes the Super Bowl champion for that year and then the game continues onto the AFL Draft where teams pick newly generated players from College teams that they will use to improve their rosters.
