So, I've been thinking about DMing a Pathfinder game recently. But none of the modules seem all that fun to me. As classic as the whole 'you meet in a tavern and go on amazing quests for epic loot' theme is, it's pretty stale. So instead I've decided to put a twist on the whole party thing. Instead of being a hero who fights for justice, you're going to be an underling who fights for their evil overlord out of fear, respect or the urge to cause utter chaos. You'll start on the bottom tier of the overlord's armies and after some pillaging and hero slaying, work your way up to the top echelons of his regime and maybe even overthrow the bastard. As the title suggests, character constrictions would confine your characters to being of the evil alignment. Additionally, I would highly prefer you make a more 'villainous' race. Orcs, Kobolds, Goblins and Drow all come to mind, but feel free to pick any number of other 'evil' races for your characters. Anything that you think an evil overlord bent on ravaging the lands would fill his armies with would do well. There are basically no restrictions on class, aside from alignment locked ones. You may not be able to play a shining Paladin of good, but you certainly can play a bloodthirsty paladin looking to sacrifice things to his evil god. So, who's up for a bit of raiding?
