At first, she didn't hear her mom. Didn't hear her call out to her, or come to her. It wasn't until she felt her mom's hands on her shoulders, and heard her calling her name, that she finally registered that her mom was actually there. Torunn gasped and shot up, her head nearly hitting the wall. Her frantic eyes found her mother's calm ones, and she shook her head. "The light!" She exclaimed as she pointed to the bathroom.  "I flipped it on, and it got real real bright, then exploded." Torunn grabbed her mother's upper arms, her grasp tight, and she felt herself start to shake. "I could hear the electricity running to it. The humming." Due to her mom's unknown hypnosis, this was her "first" time experiencing the phenomenon. To say it freaked her out, was the understatement of the century. Torunns breathing had started to get harder and faster, and she felt like she was going to pass out. "What the hell happened? I've never seen a light do that before. Ive never heard a light like that before. Not from a lightbulb." Torunn closed her eyes and tried concentrating on her mom's presence. On only her mom. She was here for her, and the light had to be some freak accident. It took a few seconds, but she finally started to feel herself calm down. Her heart started to slow, as did her breathing. Torunn took a deep breath and swallowed hard. Opening her eyes again, she looked over her mom's shoulder, and into the bathroom. After a second, her eyes met her mom's, and she just stared at her, her brows furrowed. For some reason, it all seemed familiar, but she wasn't sure if it was reality, deja vu, or a dream.
