Kull is held in place, his head isn't. Furthermore, Dame's stab was lined up and launched before the headbutt landed, with Kull's response coming [u]before[/u] impact. He'd be juddered, but he'd also have already made his move.

Again, he wasn't making calculations during impact but before, and it isn't math, it's deflecting a stab you saw coming with your helmet, hardly Sherlock.

He's not paying as much attention to to Lilly because he already figures he can stab her in the neck and have one less worry.
