SOLDIER Class: 2nd “Eagle Wings” Name Lapin Delacroix (of House Delacroix) Age 20 Date of Birth April 8, εγλ 1981 Gender Female Height 5’3” Weight 122lbs Hair Color Black Written Description Lapin, despite almost always being clad in the uniform of a 2nd Class SOLDIER and being rather short, always carries herself with an air of poise and dignity. Since her hair is naturally long, when she’s on duty, she keeps it up in a bun, except for the parts of her hair that mutated due to the Summon Fusion experiment. As a result of being bonded with Carbuncle, she has a diamond-shaped, red gem in her forehead, as well as a pair of long, ear-shaped extensions in her hair, which start just above her natural ears and hang down to just below her shoulders. Personality Lapin conducts herself as she believes a lady should conduct herself: she speaks articulately, she’s rarely rude or crass, and she tries to be friendly to everyone even if it’s only because she feels obligated to do so. She’s quick to speak her mind if she believes that it can benefit the group, and this can at times put her at odds with her subordinates, who probably don’t have the education and refinement that she does. Her role as a 2nd Class SOLDIER dictates, at least to her, that she should not get especially close to any of her subordinates, so she can come across as aloof and at times withdrawn. She is ever ready to please her superiors as she has a reputation to maintain as a Delacroix. In her downtime, she enjoys reading history books or sharing her knowledge with her more inquisitive comrades. She also likes to play games that require tactical thinking, such as King’s Field, or chess, and even though she may not win every game, she enjoys the challenge. Also, she recently discovered that she likes dogs, as she’s never had any pets growing up but sees them quite frequently on her travels. She thinks their little, dark eyes and noses are simply adorable! She doesn’t anger easily, at least not visibly, but the easiest way to get a rise out of her is to compare her to a rabbit. She’s well aware of what her name means in another language, but her name is not Rabbit, it is Lapin. She’s generally annoyed by her mutation which lets people draw even more similarities between her and Leporidae but she tries not to let it bug her too much. Using that as a jumping off point, Lapin is also annoyed by people who are rude for rudeness’ sake, and if that person happens to be a subordinate, she will certainly call them out on it. As a representative of SOLDIER and the Shinra Corporation, as well as being a Delacroix, she believes that she has to maintain a standard of behavior. Background In times long ago, it is told that if a person or persons were in need of protection, they could send a prayer on the wings of a bird and before too long, The Delacroix would appear to defend them from whatever troubles would beset them. This is the glamorous part of the legend, and the part that Lapin prefers to cite when asked about her heritage. In reality, the Delacroix were a band of mercenaries of various ethnic backgrounds who offered their protection services for the right price. They were known for using only shields as their primary weapons. Fast forward to a couple of generations ago, when Shinra Electric Power Company had only recently discovered Mako energy. The Delacroix by this time had become the private security firm “Delacroix Security Solutions”, and had made quite a name for themselves as one of the top security firms in the world. Seeing an opportunity to build a powerful business relationship, Delacroix approached Shinra and offered its services; Shinra, at this time, could not possibly have enough resources to protect all of its assets: the Mako mines, their fledgling reactors, and all of its other business holdings. Delacroix were hired, and Shinra began to prosper. Shortly after Midgar was completed, Shinra was able to buy out Delacroix and assimilate them into their own security forces, setting the Delacroix family for life. Lapin is the only child of Konejo and Usagi Delacroix, and because of this, her parents were able to devote all of their time (read, their servants’ time) to her care, education, and upbringing. She knew nothing but only the finest luxuries growing up, but was also aware of the strife and hardships that occurred under her feet in the slums of Midgar, and she was sympathetic, though she never actually ventured anywhere near the slums and always more or less assumed that Shinra Inc always had their best interests in mind. Having grown up with the finest education Midgar had to offer, and with such a rich family history herself, in her downtime, she dove into educating herself in the ways of the Delcroix fighting style (mostly as a hobby, but also as a way to carry on her family’s legacy of protecting the downtrodden since there was now no business for her to inherit). She became quite adept with the fighting style and, when she turned 18, applied directly for the SOLDIER program, based on nothing more than her own skill, pedigree, and desire to make Midgar (and by her reasoning, the world) a better place. Tapping into her Delacroix ancestry, she slams the edge of her shield into the ground, then raises it triumphantly and casts Curaga and Wall on all of her allies within 20 meters of her position.

Name Landon Milonas Age 27 Date of Birth November 4, εγλ 1974 Gender Male Height 6' Weight 163 Hair Color Brown Eye Color Bog-standard brown Written Description Landon, having spent many of his formative years mining coal, is quite lean and muscular. His body is covered in faint scars and burn marks, some from normal wear and tear from working in the mines of Corel and building the Mt Corel reactor, but some of his more recent scars are from the destruction of said reactor. His most notable physical feature is his prosthetic right arm, which appears as a molded metal arm, complete with a five-fingered, jointed hand. Dark scarring can be seen on his upper arm where the prosthesis connects to his body. The arm is myoelectric/infused with Mako, giving it the ability to function like a normal arm, minus fine motor skills. He can hold objects in his hand without fear of dropping or crushing them, but cannot deftly manipulate them, like say writing with a pen or typing on a keyboard. He has no feeling in his prosthetic limb. Like his picture suggests, Landon keeps his sleeves rolled up and avoids wearing his suit jacket whenever possible. His suit is navy blue and he wears a silk, light blue tie that his Ma gave him before he left for Midgar, which he cherishes. Personality Landon may possibly be the nicest Turk to wear the suit. This doesn't mean that he's a pushover, or that he's any kind of pacifist, however. Generally, he's easygoing and friendly to his compatriots and even potential opponents, but when it's time to fight, he'll ensure that he puts his enemy down with very little muss or fuss. He likes to throw down and seems to genuinely have fun fighting, and even if his life is on the line, he'll still have a smile on his face. His flippant attitude may annoy his comrades, but he doesn't care. He tends to act like a 'bro' and has a nickname for everyone, and tends to change those nicknames on the fly. He also has a soft spot for women and children, and will at times catch himself being crude or idiotic and completely stop so as to not offend the 'fairer sex' or 'young ears'. There are generally very few things that set him off. A person can get up in his face and spit at him and call him every derogatory name in the book, and he'll stand there and take it...until they insult his Ma or Pa. Doubting his ability because of his prosthesis will usually earn a snide remark along the lines of "Nah, my only limitation is the parts of me that are meat, friend-o." Background Corel was once a middling coal mining town near the tourist trap of Coast Del Sol. It's residents were proud, hard-working, and friendly people. Three of those people were a burly bear of a man named Kain, his young wife Helen, and their rambunctious son Landon. Kain worked the mines since his childhood, and when Landon was 10, he followed suit. Helen, meanwhile, ran a diner of sorts to keep the working people of the town well-fed and happy. When Landon was just on the cusp of 18 years of age, his father passed away from black lung. The town mourned for a time and Landon quickly and seamlessly took up the mantle of 'Man of the House' and primary breadwinner of the family. Two years later, Scarlet, representing the interests of the Shinra Electric Power company, came to Corel and and made a proposition: Shinra would build a reactor on the nearby Mt. Corel, and the town of Corel would reap the rewards that having a new, cutting edge source of power would afford them. Landon, along with the town elders, readily agreed and days later, construction began on the massive reactor. Landon readily leapt into his work helping in the construction and even when morale seemed low and Shinra seemed too pushy, Landon worked to keep everyone's spirits up. However, one fateful day, Landon's world was suddenly turned upside down. An explosion occurred in part of nearly completed reactor, and Landon, along with a handful of men went to try to rescue anyone they could. Although they were able to get a number of people to safety, Landon's right arm was badly injured by falling debris and he lost consciousness. When he came to, he tried to lift his hand, only to find out there was none. The doctor who was present told him that the injuries to his arm were too extensive and that he had no choice but to amputate. Landon's only response: "Is everyone safe?" Indeed, there had been only two deaths in the explosion, and a Shinra investigation quickly found cause of the explosion: the terrorist group known as AVALANCHE. Within days, Shinra forces were storming the town, under the guise of rooting out hidden AVALANCHE members. They completely razed the town, chasing any survivors to the north. Landon and his Ma were barely able to get to safety, but not before a Shinra troop uttered the words that would etch themselves into his mind for the rest of his life: "You brought this on yourselves." Landon knew that the trooper was wrong; AVALANCHE brought this misery, not the people of Corel. After healing up and rebuilding what they could, Landon made the decision to leave North Corel for Midgar, to join SOLDIER and exact his own brand of justice on the cowardly terrorists of AVALANCHE. Using the last of his savings, he travelled to Midgar and found someone who could outfit him with a new arm and in a couple of years, once he was fighting fit, he tried out for SOLDIER...and failed. However, his skill and enthusiasm caught the attention of the Turks, who appreciated his up close and personal style. After his recruitment, he quickly made a name for himself as a quaint and folksy, but skilled and dedicated enforcer. Weapon Although Landon is proficient with a number of mining implements, such as pickaxes and shovels, his primary weapon is his fists. He learned to box as a teen, and carried those skills over to his career as a Turk. He also knows a few grapples and throws, but he more prefers to simply punch his opponents. Materia Quake -Quake 1 -Quake 2 Bolt -Bolt 1 -Bolt 2 Bio -Bio 1 Limit Break Phantom Pain Train - When Landon's life is hanging in the balance, he pumps his prosthetic arm as if he were pulling a train whistle, then bum rushes his opponents at such a speed as to make it seem like there are phantoms of him on the battlefield. He unleashes a flurry of 10 punches all over 10 different opponents in his vicinity, adding Quake 1 and Bolt 1 damage to each attack.
