[@Terminal] gee, I wonder if any of the causes you just mentioned were the reason it died. Or perhaps it's the fact that, suddenly, it stopped getting promoted once one of the moderators lost their position and the others went AWOL. Could also be that the one person in charge of it at the moment isn't really doing anything with it last I checked. You literally just listed the reasons it died. The causes for those reasons are irrelevant to what I said (and what you said). 

There's no reason for it to be as dead as it is, though, considering there is still an active writing contest moderator. So, perhaps look to them for the answers you seek.
