Instead of possibly embarrassing the girl, potentially any further than she already was, he just let it go and focused back on the mission. Declan continuously kept taking deep intakes of breath as quietly as possible, trying to pick up the scent of anything/anyone unfamiliar at the scene. The blood had been cleaned up, but he could still smell it like the kill was still fresh. It was almost overpowering to his senses. Almost at the same time as Finley had spotted the camera, so did he. It took but a moment for Declan to register that, yes, it probably captured the scene that happened the night before. He simply nodded in agreement and scanned the area, stepping in tune with Finley towards- there it was. As soon as his eyes caught the claw marks on the ground, he also caught the scent of the murderer. Not just any murderer. A murderous werewolf. It gave Declan peace of mind when he came to the conclusion that it was a scent he didn't know. The thought of the wolf who attacked him came to mind, causing him to physically flinch at the memory. Once Declan came-to, it suddenly dawned on him just how urgently they needed to get to that tape.. well, he did... but what would Finley think witnessing a wolf kill the mayor. Hopefully, the wolf had just been in wolf form throughout the video, and didn't turn on camera. Would Finley even know what to think if she saw that? He looked to Finley when she spoke, nodding as he extended his arm out to pull open the door, waving her inside. "Has Gwen gotten back to you, yet?" Unbeknownst to himself and Finn, Gwen had already beaten the two of them inside. Glaring at Olivia in a playful manner, she shook her head and listened to her speak, then Josh. Just then, Taylor's food was brought to the table. There were two links of sausages on her plate that Taylor hadn't asked for, but the smell of them had her thanking the Cafe's cook for including them. Wonder if they included them at no charge, or if she'd also have to pay for them, too. It didn't matter much to Taylor, honestly. What was a few dollars and cents for a couple sausage links? Speaking of which, the scent of the cooked meat woke something inside of Taylor. Her wolf was prowling at the edges of her psyche, wanting to come to the surface. Her eyes flashed momentarily with the eyes of her wolf before quickly turning back to their natural dark brown. Taylor froze and glanced up at Olivia like, 'Shit, did he see that?' She side-glanced towards Josh, then down to her meal. She picked up her napkin and laid it out over her right knee, brushing Josh's thigh in the process. Turning a slight shade of pink, Taylor muttered a quick 'Sorry,' before grabbing her fork and knife to start digging into her eggs, sausage, and toast. It took Taylor a second to realize Josh was talking to her. She quickly swallowed the bite of sausage she took before wiping her mouth with her napkin, looking up at him and giggled lightly at his 'scooby snacks' comment. Nodding, she looked between him and Olivia as she spoke. "I was already down there this morning just before the announcement at the Town Hall, but it wouldn't hurt to go back down there again. I'd just have to drop by my house and pick up Sadie. She's been cooped up in the house all morning, and I think she'd enjoy some time down at the lake, too. If that dog could live in the water, she would!"
