"Good glad we can help on another." Frakedi said with a smile. He was happy everything was panning out well, and now it was just time to get he show on the road. "Lets get going shall we, my original plan was to walk right in behind Briggs here, he [i]gave[/i] me all his access codes and a pretty detailed layout of the facility." Frakedi said as he began to walk out the room with Briggs following, it was the easiest way to get into the facility. Frakedi did not trust phasing through the walls and making himself intangible and invisible was a lot easier to get by most scanners. But he halted in his tracks, Frakedi did no know what Echo was capable of, he could easily make himself unseen but what was Echo able to do?

Even after asking the question he walked outside and hugged the shadows in front of the building with Briggs in front. Their red eyes where gone, Briggs and Frakedi looked like two DEO agents, standing in front of the building. The original plan was for Briggs to scan him in and he walk in right behind him, then go to the main frame and take whatever information he could about the DEO and then leave before morning came. If Echo answered right they should have an easy day, but if things had to change the plan might get a little sticky and Briggs wold have to be removed.

Zalim had been ushered in by his father and while they waited Lord Ares had manifested from thin air next to them. All twelve in the room where awaiting his older brother, the man of the hour. Lord Ares had sort of a smug air around him, his father had been hiding his emotions so Zalim could only assume he felt proud. Zalim was conflicted, today he lost a brother but gained a Proteus. That still would not fix the fact that he would be left alone. He plus he would be able to see Kassander again when his mission was complete, but there was always the "What if?" What if he never came back? What if he died on Gaia?  What if he did not want to come back? As his brother walked in, the panic set in, he could feel it claw at his back and make him break a sweat. It slithered its way up his spine and clutched his heart. Zalim had gotten better at hiding the symptoms but that did not mean there were not there. 

When Ares summoned his brother in front of them, Zalim started his spiral into despair. It was initial shock and the potential loneliness that had started this panic, the fact that he was losing his brother had just set in and Zalim was taking hard. He should have been proud and happy that the day of their entire peoples existence was upon them, not sad and biter. As lord Ares spoke the words stung like knives and caused him to grab his arm for reassurance. He was blocking their conversation out by trying to keep his breath stable. It was only when he was enveloped in warmth that his panic was broken. Kassander was hugging him, at first Zalim was still in a bit of shock but then recovered and hugged back as his big brother made a sure promise of their reunion. Zalim whispered a quiet "okay" at this and hugged him even tighter. 

Zalim let go at the sound on Ares clearing his throat. The god gave Zalim a pointed look that clearly said "You are here to guard, not distract my son" and Zalim could do nothing but let him go and back off. He gave his brother one last look and a smile then walked over to one of the windows and looked out into the darkness. He did not want to say goodbye because that implied they might not ever see each other again, and if Ares was intent on ripping his Kassander out of his life then Zalim was not gonna watch. 

He had not been paying attention to the ceremony and was just staring off into space when the alarm sounded. He ran over to the window and looked outside, and boy was it a sight, Arkos had been lit up like a burning tree, fires were spreading all throughout the city, and in the distance you could see multiple large figures marching on their home and tearing things apart. If you focused you could feel the vibrations form their steps, and you could hear their destruction in the distance. "Father is Giants!" Zalim said rushed and summoned his armor to him along with his bow. In a golden flash he was fully covered with his helmet on and bow drawn, quiver on his back. 

"No, you stay and protect the Proteus and Magos while me and Lord Ares handle them." His father ordered, to those who paid attention you could hear the slight bitterness when he said Proteus.

So Zalim watched them leave with the two guards and lock the doors behind them. As the ritual intensified and the was portal almost opened, the windows blasted open and 9 Erinyes flew in and immediately attacked the Magos. Flying down and slitting their throats, Zalim hid behind a stone pillar drew and arrow. The arrow caught on fire and he aimed at the head of on [url=https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/forgottenrealms/images/8/87/Erinyes2.jpg/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/350?cb=20080525071110]Erinyes[/url]. Zalim let it fly and he succeed in shooting her directly in the head. 5 of them were quick to act and flew in his direction. While this was happening the portal was opened and Zalim could only guess that Kassander fell through. The five that came for him were quick but Zalim was faster, he drew three arrows and shot down three of the Erinyes, one that seemed to be a like the leader pulled out her whip and was able to get Zalim by the neck and pull him from cover. She landed on top of the boy and drew her blade, looking to her sisters she began to give them more orders. "Οι αδελφές ακολουθούν τον Πρωτέα και σιγουρεύονται ότι πεθαίνει, δεν μπορούμε να αποτύχουμε τον Λόρδο Άδη." When she finished that last four followed Kassander through the portal and all that was left was Zalim and the furry. "Ώρα να πεθάνεις μικρό αγόρι." She spat in her face as she drove the knife through his chest. In the blink of an eye her wings were ripped off and in another blink [url=https://www.filepicker.io/api/file/0IVr2NMFQNOHIAQ6S7bI]Vel[/url] was eating her head. He body fell off Zalim with a thud and and started to spout blood, hers mixed with Zalim's as he bled from his new wound. 

Vel was quick to act and picked the boy up as the explosions form hidden bombs went off. The monster walked over to the portal and jumped in just was it was closing. The last thing Zalim saw form his home was fire, and the first thing he was from earth was a bright light in the blue sky. "Is that the sun Vel? It is so pret-" and he passed out.
