Kali chuckled when Kutur had trouble putting a toe in the river. "Aw, don't be such a hatchling about it. You just need to get used to the water." She had an idea of how to get him to loosen up, but it wasn't one born of clear thought or careful consideration. No, this was one of those wild, stupid ideas which burst forth from out of nowhere and returned to the ether just as quick as they came. Either she'd act on it now or never do it.

Kali gave Kutur a push right into the water. She leapt into the river feet-first, splashing the water everywhere. It wasn't deep or fast-moving, but it definitely felt cooler than the desert air.
