[@Doc Doctor] Evvie’s keen eyes managed to catch sight of a way up through the gruesome mess that made up the walls of the cave. Although she had little experience in climbing, having limited need in the past due to easily traversing heights thanks to her now damaged wings, her powerful muscles allowed her to begin the ascent with little difficulty, at least for her current surroundings. Although each and every handhold she gained was disgusting to say the least, it was thankfully within her personality to be able to push through such factors as she focused on getting out of this mess in order to not only help herself but also her ally. She got dirty all the time. Sure, slime of questionable origin and the remains of what had once been children were far worse of a mess to wade through than dirt, but as long as she didn’t think too hard about it then she’d be okay. Perhaps the vile foe would even underestimate how quickly she could transcend this obstacle and she could get the drop on him! She relished the thought of such revenge. Meanwhile, Umbard felt something he hadn’t in quite a while. Was he intimidated so badly that he couldn’t even face his opponent? Nonsense! But still he couldn’t….it was a tactical halt in his plans; he refused to admit it was from fear. He managed to force his gaze downward just in time. Down to his bulging muscles and the weapon he held as his thundering feet came to a halt within fifteen feet from the foe. Gripping his weapon tight he let out a war cry at the top of his lungs, turning his gaze back up to the monster’s flank that was his original target and his target once more now that he had newfound determination to strike. And strike he would attempt, a downward slash with all his might once he got within range. He made sure not to look at the eyes again. Not until he was sure he wrung the life out of them.
