[@CollectorOfMyst][@AllHollowsEve] You're both right. The lion turtles granted the [i]ability[/i] to bend, but the "totems" (moon, dragons, sky bison, badgermoles) provided a [i]way to refine[/i] the bending ability. Wan got fire from the lion turtle, but became an expert by learning from a dragon.
