Lilith helped handle the controls. It didn't hit her until a moment later that the pale woman was gone. She hadn't seen what happened, but the somber mood led her to believe she was no more and her body was gone. Was that due to the time paradox? She didn't want to find out what happened to the rest of them.

The lights came on and the barrier broke. It defied whatever logic remained (and there was very little of that right now). However, the barrier was broken. They were free.

Were they?

Where there was smoke, there was fire.

The door opened with ease and she came face to face with the unknown. She heard the fire burn. The smoke was intense and she could do little to dissipate it.

Did she dare move forward? She found something the others didn't know about. She didn't much care about the goings on behind her. Surely whatever was forward was better than this? However, she wasn't stupid. [color=E97E99]"That's all well and good now, but I believe I found something peculiar. We did just deal with a demon, did we not?
