[center]Greetings people of the internet, I am Sockofpancakes! Or-- Socks for short, it's what most people use to address me. It's an odd name with not so deep, deeper meaning, or it might just be I used it once and it kinda stuck because I suck with handles and names. 

So, how did I end up here? Well, it's a roleplay site and I'm a roleplayer, it is only natural that I'd come across this place at some point in my little hobby. I started roleplaying digitally, with actual typing, in 6th grade, I believe, and it was the simple 'Me: Hey whats up *Giggles*' stuff that I find cringy looking back at my old stuff. I have gotten far better over the years though I am no expert, far from it. Technically, you [i]could[/i] say I started roleplaying in elementary school because my friends and I would make up stuff, pass a book back and forth writing it and doing this weird LARPing thing- yeah, it was weird...
I typically like to roleplay a few paragraphs but it really depends on what I have to respond to, naturally, if someone gives me one paragraph I find it difficult to write three in response. I'm getting into an area of adding extra detail to things and using bigger words I wouldn't usually ever use in real life.
I would roleplay animals, mostly cats(Like the warriors series.), but I do love doing fantasy with humans. I have this character I have had for like ten years and he has gone through so many changes, even a total redesign as well as going from a cocky, out-spoken 'dude' with flaming hair and a craving to protect, never doing bad-- to a small, mousy looking boy with some issues as well as a great love for the earth and battle scars from trying to protect those he loves. 

Other than roleplaying I am really into musicals, singing, and acting. I sing all the time and am auditioning to some professional things to get some proper feedback as well as get myself out there. I love to act because I can finally be who I wished to be as a child. When I act, I am not a struggling kid with nothing interesting about me, I am anyone I want to be. I could be petter pan and fly or I could be an insane man who believes he can play the violin when actually it is quite horrid. Same kinda goes with singing, I can be anyone when singing because each note and lyrics tells a different tale than the one before. Singing and acting combined to make a musical is the most amazing thing I know on Earth.
