Of course this was going to happen! The Draconi didn’t even try hiding the medikit he was holding right now. As to why he didn’t hide it could account for numerous reasons. One being, he was acting somewhat careless from his current drug induced state. Another reason could be, where on earth would he hide it and hope to retrieve it again? Nonetheless, this reaction was unwelcome and hostile. He almost wondered why he ventured out in the first place. The grey Draconi momentarily turned to look at Taffy incredulously. As if to ask if he was ‘normally like this?!’ He turned back to look at the inflammatory Spicati. Still holding the medikit Xell remembered above all that it was best to remain calm no matter the circumstances. Since panic would kindle undesirable circumstances. However, with his current anxiety potentiated from the drugs, this was all happening at a bad time. His assailant had leveraged control of his physical movement by virtue of having a firearm. How was it he noticed that that was his medikit? Did he see him sneak into his plane? Xell didn’t have many bargaining hands to play at the moment so he had to choose his words wisely. “I think you need to calm down… Max,” the Draconi said softly but with unnerving undertones. Knowing his name on account of him introducing himself to ‘Taffy’ earlier. “Is this really all about the medikit or are you smarting for being a shmuck pilot?” Xell asked “you want to shoot me for taking supplies you were going to abandon anyway? At least use this to fix up the kid before you make your next move!” he gave a single nod towards Max's gun as if he was a coward. Suggesting they settle this through armed combat to make things fairer should it come to that. Xell looked on cautiously and predicted one of 3 things may happen next given what he just said.
