[@Gisk], no. It was my proposal on page 1. Rosai, the sandbender. Some other fans have come up with a sandbender to follow Korra as the Avatar, but I came up with the name and idea on my own. It's not canon.

Personally, I'd love to have a plotline about a 'weak' Avatar, who has to use finesse and skill where Korra did brute force. However, there would be two Avatar states: the White light of Raava where all elements could be controlled, and the berserker red of Vaatu, where massive power is granted in the Avatar's native element. This also makes the Avatar their own worse enemy, where order and chaos are both now embodied in the Avatar.
