Background
Cassiopeia was a miracle child, after her mother had four miscarriages and two other children die at a young age. She was their last attempt at a child and luckily she survived past childhood and into adulthood. She was very sheltered as a child, as her parents feared for her life, but she had the best education money could buy, in both deportment standards and educational standards. Her father wanted to her to be able to independently run the duchy even after she was married, which proved useful when he died after she turned 18. She had spent one disastrous seasons at the capital, her naivety had done her no favors and almost ruined her, and was blessedly given a season off to mourn. She is returning for the season, although only at her mothers bequest. As a duchess in her own right she can marry for love and not at anyone’s demand and that’s exactly what she’s choosing to do.

Personality
She’s very soft spoken to strangers and appears to be a model of decorum. Among friends she’s got a very dry wit, and a looser tongue than is probably advisable. She is very much the romantic and enjoys making matches among her friends and on occasion strangers. She's very invested in drama, she's your classic gossip monger although she's not cruel about it.
