[@Sierra] Hey, let a man enjoy his personal dreadnought. The Gem took 8 years to build lorewise, and it was the flagship of the First Gashathi Armada for two decades. All that time Kindal'Q was in charge of it's maintenance, and even the construction of it's succesor. I don't see any problem with powerful things as long as people can keep level head about them and approach the situation reasonably. And especially since this RP is not an NRP (at least it's not posted in that section), giving you a lifeline is very important. You could make a really cool bio only for your guy's ship to be blown up by a meteor swarm. Not very entertaining in my opinion. And even thought I hate to voice this because people tend to be touchy about the subject, we should all trust each other to not exploit things or go overboard. Maybe some of us wants to win, whatever that means, but no one can really enjoy winning via a superweapon. Just like how you don't research atomic bombs in HOI4 because they are too good. So yeah, I personally will use my ship as a homebase and not as a dreadnought. If I wanted to "win", I would get something more spectacular and interesting. But I chose to make that goddamn expansive list of aliens I bring with me, so you better goddamn beleive I'm about to use them.
