Suppose it's a matter of preference. Letter Bee being the primary GM his view is more relevant: but I personally prefer the former. I feel things are more interesting when the characters have more limited amount of options and make creative use of what they have. In my mind I'm looking for spells that preform an action, rather than using spells to preform action[b]s[/b] if that makes any sense. It helps define what a character can do better and provides a more clear path for overall progression, part of the reason for my statement to Kafka Komedy.
