Lydia had been more focused on her injury that she hadn't gotten a good look around to see if anyone else was around. The boy had a giant dog, and even though she loved all animals, it made her have difficulties with the kitten, who clearly did not like the dog. She did appreciate how he seemed to have wound the leash up to prevent the dog from jumping up on her. This made it easier for her to hold the hissing kitten. Lydia reached for the napkins that he held out to her, "Thanks, I'm alright," she said as she leaned over to put some pressure on the scratch without making the kitten uncomfortable. Lydia looked at the envelope again, and noticed an address on it. Even though she actually knew somewhat where the address was, she still was pretty sure that she should turn it over to the police, since she could get into some big trouble if she was caught with it. Her curiosity though, told her to go to the address and then hand it over to the police. She might not be in as big of trouble if she did that since she wouldn't have opened the letter right? She didn't know what to do with it.
