Hey guys! Once again, I'm trying to get back into the swing of things after an extended hiatus and rather unfortunate set of circumstances that had left me without time or motivation to write. As there is new hope on the horizon, I felt it was time I give this writing thing another shot! So I'm back on the hunt for people who can put up with me for more than 5 minutes! So to those of you reading this now that haven't run off, a couple disclaimers:
1. Gotta be 18+. Sorry, non-negotiable. 2. Looking for partners willing to write in the “Advanced” spectrum. The more you give me in a post, the more I can give you back! 3. Try to shoot for about 3 posts a week. I’ve found that less than that makes a roleplay die off pretty quickly. Good chance I’ll post once a day if given the opportunity, but I won’t expect that from you. 4. I like a bit of romance, so long as it develops naturally. Characters that make lovey-dovey eyes at each other at the start irritate me. It’s a good tool to make the plot more meaningful and drive character motivation. This means no smut for smut’s sake, either. Once things have developed properly, then sure, but not before then. 5.I will write out the sexy-time scenes. There might be occasions where FTB is acceptable, or even needed for the overall flow of things, but for the most part, I’ll write it out. HOWEVER, SEE RULE 4. 6. I run M/F plots. It's not that I have issue with F/F or M/M plots, I just am not versed enough in them to do them justice. 7. I typically play male characters, but can play females too. I also don’t mind running several characters at once. 8. I like to chat OOC too! I enjoy getting to know people! 9. Last but not least: FEELS. I cannot help it. I want to make stomachs twist into knots and cackle evilly on the other side of the screen. I enjoy writing in a healthy dose of angst, provided it suits the story/character arc. I can’t stand plots that go from one happy event to another and everything is perfect. I’ll be more than happy to write a bit of fluff now and then, but you’d better brace yourself because it means something awful is coming.
Ok, I think that’s it for the little blurb about rules, and a little about myself! I’m an avid roleplayer, both online and IRL. I am a veteran LARPer and have been a part of 3 different games over the years and am working on getting together the cash to buy some land where I can start to bring these fantasy worlds to life. I’ve also run an online RP forum for a number of years where I met some truly awesome people. Beyond that, I’m a major geek. DC (aka: BATMAN) all the way for me. I love video games and while I have a soft spot for RPG’s, I will never understand how StarCraft of all things managed to tell a better story through a friggen RTS than most games ever will. Seriously. Kerrigan is my favorite thing ever. I like to craft and do leatherworking and various other things that catch my interest. Right now, it’s 3D printing, so I’m likely to be found swearing at my printer for some problem or another as I muddle through the technical world of “How the **** does this work”. I've also started to dabble in coding and electronics, so I may be typing in a haze of the dreaded "blue smoke". Fair warning, my job does require some travel time out of me, which means I can end up in BFE at a moment’s notice without an internet connection. I will do my best not to ghost on you, and give you some warning, but there are times when that gets left off the Things-to-do list as I’m frantically packing to catch my flight. If you don’t hear from me in a few days, give me a poke. There’s a good chance work just drug me off behind a frozen shed in Wisconsin or something. The good news is that I've finally ditched the freeloading roommate, and now will have some actual quality time to get back to the thing I love doing most! But beyond all that, writing is, has been, and will continue to be my favorite pastime. I like to make stories fun and memorable, as well as do things that will give your heartstrings a couple of good hard yanks in the process. If you think we can write together, then take a look-see at what I’ve got below! So here we go, and keep in mind, if there is a (?) in a pairing, it means that the role is up you to decide!
Rogue mage x (?)-(Medieval fantasy) A rogue mage has earned the disfavor of their king and country. Unable to hide within the lands of the kingdom, they’ve fled to the war-like lands of the neighboring kingdom who treat all magic with the utmost suspicion. And trying to blend in is difficult when their entire life has been built around a skill they can no longer use openly. Your character notices this strange traveler in town, and has an odd feeling about them that you’re just about to dismiss as paranoia… Until you watch them cast a spell no one was supposed to see.

Soldier x Scientist A simple escort to a godforsaken speck of land in the Marquesas; easy assignment. A cushy, military-funded research gig on a tropical island for six months; state-sponsored vacation. All of that goes to hell when the plane is shot out the sky leaving two people, who couldn’t be more opposite, stranded on an island in the South Pacific with next to no supplies, and a dangerous cartel that isn’t about to let either leave alive.

Treasure hunter x (?)- (Steampunk Fantasy) The land below the clouds belongs to the “World Eaters”. Dragons. Beasts that crawled straight out of legend and the ground thousands of years ago to lay waste to the world and everyone who lived in it. The surface now belongs to them, while the skies are ours, thanks to a choking layer of ash and sulfur even those fire-spitters can’t get through. Some have managed to find solid ground on the peaks of the tallest mountains, while the largest cities are held aloft thanks to the great airships that evacuated the surface. Pilots in ships of their own are the lifeblood of the world now, sailing above the Ash and keeping the fragmented world together. And there are a few who dare to venture back down to the empty Surface. Where barren rock is bathed in perpetual twilight, and assailed by acid rain and abrasive storms of glass and ash. They pick through the ruins of the old world, stealing from the dragon’s claim to bring their treasures back with them to the skies.
Well? Anything catch your fancy? If it did, shoot me a PM! I’ll be more than happy to discuss the finer points of plot specifics to anyone interested!! I look forward to writing with you!
