Calm and collected, Gabriel speaks with a formal tone and hardly ever loses his cool over something. He is a very goal oriented and focused person and extremely competitive and ambitious, and as his training dictates, has been trained to keep calm in most situations. The somewhat slender man prefers talk and civility over fighting, and prefers to talk things out instead of immediately charging in head first. That said, he is no stranger to violence. The SS trains well, and beats out any form of weakness one might have during training for the position.

Despite his amicability and openness, the harsh training the SS undergo have had somewhat of an effect on him. He absolutely hates insubordination and orders are to be followed without question, to the letter. At least, in theory. He is loathe to break any sort of rules, but he does understand that sometimes plans need to chance depending on the situation presented with them. Even so - he has been sent by the SS to oversee this operation, and [i]will[/i] see it succeed and will suffer no insubordination. Insubordination and opponents will be met with ruthless brutality.

His feelings towards Germany and the current political climate is somewhat mixed, truthfully. He himself, questions the direction the country is in, but after seeing the absolutely deplorable conditions the Germans were forced to live in - and that he himself grew up in - after World War 1, he is hesitant to call it a bad thing.

[b]Appearance:[/b]
With bright, blond hair and blue eyes, Gabriel is almost a perfect example of what the current ruling party in Germany wants in a soldier. Standing at just five foot seven, Gabriel's only slightly detracting factor is his somewhat slight build and eternally seeming youthful appearance that doesn't seem to boast much musculature. Even so though he quickly distinguished himself among both the SS.

He is particularly fond of a white and gold military suit, as it is a designation of his special status as a Magus of the SS as well as the technical commander of the current operation. It has the usual Insignia of the SS-TV on his collar. In all, his appearance is not exactly what one would expect of the ruthlessness of someone who works in the Death Camps.

[b]Biography:[/b]
Born in 1916 in the middle of the Great War, Gabriel lost his parents towards the end of the war. As a result, he never knew his parents that well, just vague memories and recollections. However, luckily for him he was taken in by his grandparents that lived in Munich, where he quickly learned that he was what was known in a certain underground world as a 'Magus'. Still, his family was nowhere near a very notable family - compared to certain larger groups and more secretive societies, his family was compared to children playing with magic cards.

Still his Grandparents taught and so he learned Magecraft. Even so, it never played a particular large part in his life to start with. His grandparents were insistent that such craft not be the focus of his life, as it would certainly only lead to troublesome things. So he spent his time learning more mundane topics. History, maths, sciences, etc. Other things. Still, his life was far from easy post great war. After the war, Germans were forced to live in harsh conditions and as such, thoughts of revenge and a desire to help German people with Magecraft grew. So against his grandparents wishes, he decided to learn Magecraft. He quickly became fascinated with it, taking to it like a moth to a flame and despite his own discovery that his aptitude for it wasn't the best, he cared not. He carried on like this for most of his teenage and youthful years.

It was around 1933 when Hitler and the NSDAP came to complete power in Germany. Gabriel was 17 at the time, and was quickly swept up by the appeals that the party could help Germany. A year later when the 'Junker Schools' were founded to train SS officers, he leapt at the chance to join. Of course, not anyone could just be taken in as a candidate. Sure, he fit the profile of the 'Ideal German Citizien' but that wasn't enough. He had little to no combat training. Against his grandparents wishes, he stole the family jewels, so to speak, altering his appearance so none would be able to identify him. 

Of course, that's where Magecraft came into play. he managed to at first, insert himself into one of the Reichswehr as part of the Chancellors secret plans for military expansion. He forged some papers as well as his age, stating how long he had been a part of it. Stating he was a fresh recruit from before then and three years older than he actually was as well as altering the memory of those he had too. He received his his first military training from here where he quickly distinguished himself from his peers with excellence in training as well as determined and goal focused attitude.

It was in 1934 when the first Junker Schools founded - A Leadership school specifically designed to train SS officers. He leapt at the chance to become one of them. The training by far, was not what most would willingly go through. The schools were designed to teach the officer cadet to be adaptable, able to handle any order given to them as well as instill a sense of racial superiority and nationalist ideologies. Of course, Gabriel was no exception and underwent just as harsh conditions as everyone else. Still, after nineteen months of the harsh training, in 1935 he was a fully fledged member of the SS - one of their more prominent members to boot.

It was then, he was recruited into the SS-TV - that is, the special regiments designed to specifically oversee and work in the the concentration camps. So he went to Dachau in order to have further training as well as a role in this absolutely horrid state of affairs. Just following orders, is all. Even so, he still questions the harsh conditions on the people there, but he never voiced such concerns. That would be treason, and he'd already gotten himself this far into it, it would be difficult to back out now.

Eventually, he completed the special type of SS-TV training required of those working in the Death Camps. For a few years, while he never oversaw a Camp himself he was a well respected member among those in Buchenwald where he was transferred later.

However, when word and talk of the Holy Grail surfaced, he was chosen among all the others to oversee the operation as it was well known within the higher up of the SS that he was at least into more...occult things, and as such had a fairly large influence within the regime. Loyal, likely not to break protocol or betray the Chancellor - he was the perfect candidate.

So he performed the summoning ritual, and headed off to Japan.

Unfortunately, Gabriel is no great mage no matter what the NSDAP or the Thule society wants. Aside from his Od, his Magic Circuits and the quality of them, just isn't top of the line. Not that many know this - its a well kept secret he plays close to his vest.

His most notable use of this, is use Fire and Wind related magecraft, to make small electrical currents to have a stun effect on people. Perhaps with a bit of practice he could do more with it, but there is a limit to what he's capable of with his magic circuits.

He is somewhat versed in Memory manipulation. While not extremely strong, against normal people it helped him get ahead in his own life since he is effectively able to erase his presence from peoples memories as well as give himself an alibi in the form of inserting himself into one, should he have need of it. It is how he got into the SS training classes at a Junker School as a student, initially.

Knows some rudimentary healing Magecraft, though it's nothing special and isn't going to be healing anyone from any major injury.

A simple emerald pendant, one of the sole heirlooms of his family. In essence, it is a simple item which allows one to temporarily alter their appearance to whatever they desire for a predetermined duration of time at the cost of some energy. It will wear off after awhile, but as long as the Magus is aware of the time and how much energy they put into it it shouldn't be much of a problem. Other Magus will be able to tell at least, there is a spell being cast though they may not know the exact nature of it. He passes it off as a 'simple protection spell'

A simple blade given to him to help amplify his magic, though the effectiveness is somewhat questionable. It is made of a super-conductive metal to help conduct electrical currents to aid with his particular affinities.

Gustavus stands at a fairly tall five foot ten, with a head full of scruffy long golden blond hair and blue eyes. He has a very youthful appearance, unlike the portraits of him in the past consist of. He comments this was more of what his appearance was in his youth, though he never had this much hair. The hair in question falls to his shoulders, often falling over them and coming to a rest on his neck. He still seems fond of a military uniform of white, blues, and golds.

Gustavus' personality is...well, perhaps not exactly what one might expect. Or perhaps it is. Friendly, amicable, a little on the jovial side. He likes people, and can found chatting up random strangers, regardless of their standing or position in whatever society they are in. He likes people, and people tend to like his charm and find themselves drawn to his charisma regardless of their own position. Indeed, even as a servant it seems he still has a tendency to be both loved by the Nobility and those in power, and by the little people. He doesn't really act very 'kingly' as far as a number of people are concerned, but perhaps this is why he is liked so well?

He doesn't like sitting still, and always can be found doing something if he has free time. During battle, he takes a somewhat more serious approach. He always aims to end battles quickly and swiftly. This means that despite being an archer, he has a tendency to want to fight on the front lines, regardless of his status as such. He himself [i]really[/i] doesn't like sitting back while watching his allies fight in his stead. He'd be a poor king simply to lead from the safety of his castle while his men risk their necks.

However - since becoming a servant instead of devoting everything to God, Country, and King - he is no longer a King or views himself as such. He devotes everything to the cause of his master, and is extremely loyal to that cause. This however, might cause some conflicts, especially if his master is of the less nobly aligned. Gustavus strove for peace in an Era marked by constant warfare, even if his detractors sometime say he had plans to conquer the entire region. He only did so, because at the time he saw that as the only way the constant strife was going to end.

While he himself admits he is no saint, he has very little interest in causing new wars, but will not hesitate to jump into one to take command and save people, be they his or innocent bystanders regardless.

[b]History:[/b]
Gustavus' history doesn't deviate too much from established history. Born in Stockholm, he was the oldest son of Duke Charles. At the time, the king of Sweden was his cousin, Sigismund. At least, until Charles forced Sigismund to give up the throne in 1599, a premonition of the strife to come in the Thirty Years war. He reigned as regent, until he collected the throne as Charles IX of Sweden. In 1611, his father died and left him the throne at just 16 years old. He inherited a series of wars from his father, much to his dismay.

Gustavus never liked war. He never liked seriously fighting even if he was good at it, but war was something that was going to be the foundation of his life, it seemed. When he took the throne, he made several radical military, political, and economic reforms in order to modernize Sweden and help protect his people and country from the Catholics and other invaders. Most notably, was the unification of the Aristocracy and Crown. He was able to enact policies in where the aristocrats were to use their wealth to help the state. He was able to gain both the cooperation of the Aristocrats as well as the love of the common folk.

He died in the Battle of Lutzen in 1632 after being separated from his men in the battlefield. After being shot in the arm below the elbow, losing his horse as it was shot in the neck and only falling when he was shot in the back and stabbed with a bayonet - and even then, survived until an enemy soldier shot him point blank in the face.

A skill that denotes a servant is able to take action independent of their master. Typically seen as a mixed blessing, Gustavus has a high ability in this skill allowing him to take action without being ordered to by his master. Being a king and military commander, he often led charges on the front line alongside his troops and being able to act independently upon the battlefield is a needed skill for any soldier. It was in one such charge, he was killed after becoming separated from his men. Additionally, under the event his master is injured or otherwise disposed, it allows him to remain in this world longer, if only even for a week.

In his life, Gustavus never encountered magic or magecraft much. As such, his skill with this is unfortunately rather low. He can not cancel spells, but magic damage is reduced by a marginal amount.

A special type of Charisma earned from his legends and myth as the 'Lion of the North' and 'The Lion of Midnight'. Gustavus was a king who led his troops to victory upon the battlefield alongside them. He was respected among the battlefield, often taking the head of the charge himself alongside his troops as fearless as a Lion. As a fearless Lion, his bravery and charisma rubs off on others in the battlefield and encourages them to fight.

	[b]Military Tactics:[/b] B
A military genius, he led his nation and men to many victories using new methods of strategy and tactics. A skill not for use against one on one situations, but rather against entire armies. It increases ones own Anti-Army Noble Phantasm, as well as when dealing against another Anti-Army Phantasm.

	[b]Krigsfadern - Innovation:[/b] A
Innovation, a special skill granted to heroes who brought about a revolution in an era. Krigsfadern - so called the 'Father of Modern Warfare' by many, and Gustavus' version of this skill of revolutionizing and forming the basis of warfare for the next two centuries. It is the conception of his military and progressive political and economic reforms. Against servants that are still caught in medieval times and use blade and mounts, it offers plus corrections against their more 'primitive' way of fighting. Essentially, most servants from before the 1600s. However, against magic and other such creatures the effect diminishes greatly and depending, skills and stats may drop. Casters especially.

	[b]Reformation of an Empire:[/b] B
In life, Gustavus, with the help of his aides were able to completely reform the nobility and he was close friends with most of the highly influential aristocrats. At the same time, he used his power to help the common folk, and in kingdoms he conquered, he famously made the nobility give the commoners more autonomy. He was a rare thing in the seventeenth century - a king beloved by both nobility and the common folk. The manifestation of this ability does away with the stagnancy of old and brings about a new age. In effect, it heals the wounds of his allies to some extent, removes all negative statuses brought about by a battle or age, ends all arguments and brings them together, creating a bright, new dawn for an empire and all those in it and leads them to victory.

	Gustavus was well known at the time to have made great innovative strategies among the battlefield, especially in regards to equipping his soldiers with light muskets and introduced a perfected form of Salvo fire at near pointblank range. It was extremely effective in war, able to mow down cavalry within seconds and follow it up with a devastating charge of pikes and swords. This Noble phantasm is a remnant of this innovation, and he is able to summon several of these light muskets and artillery canon and fire upon a foe at close range multiple times. It does not take much energy, and easily deployable if somewhat lower powered. Damage and effectiveness is increased against Rider Classes.

	Aside from his equipping his infantry with light muskets able to fire a hail of bullets, he also equipped them with extremely mobile, light artillery that could take a more active role in battle instead of just being passive observers. The second use of his Noble Phantasm, is to summon these cannon in fully and launch a devastating, all out attack across a large area, destroying nearly everything within it. However, it loses its Buff against Rider class. It is extremely high powered and devastating, and once deployed can fire a hail of artillery canon upon an enemy for an extremely devastating attack, reducing most of the ground to craters.
