It took a moment for Kali to realize that Kutur was uncomfortable with her touching him. It wasn't meant to be bothersome, and it definitely wasn't intended to be provocative. She didn't know why he shied away from her, but she didn't want to make him uneasy. Kali released his shoulder and took a step back. "Er... sorry about that." It wasn't something kobolds would normally find wrong, let alone apologize for. "I guess you've picked up a lot of human customs?" She knew that human social conventions different tremendously depending on which group of humans they were talking about, so she wasn't even sure that her question made any sense to him.
