After washing the blood off and talking about the attack over dinner Brienna had retired to get organized. She knew that Jason had to as well. She couldn't get the words he'd said and the feelings that he had aroused out of her mind. He was the last thing at night and the first thing in the morning that she thought of and that was a new thing for her. Leaving her room she headed to the kitchen and she looked out of the window and she noticed that there were several graves dug already. Her heart felt so heavy that her mood darkened. They had lost five men. She was just thankful it hadn't been more and that none of them had been Jason. She hugged the cook and stole a few pieces of bacon. She decided to collect flowers for the graves. Once outside she saw Samuel overseeing everything and she nodded to him and he did the same. She touched the knives that were tucked onto her thigh and her waist just in case. When she had returned to her room the night before she had found them cleaned and on her table. It had made her feel safe to know that the guards knew she was as prepared as they were to protect her majesty. They didn't look at her as a silly girl with no value. She stopped and turned to Samuel. "I'm going to go find some flowers for the graves." Samuel tilted his head and smiled softly. "I think that would be nice." Brienna walked over to him and gave him a piece of bacon and grinned at his hungry expression. She had yet to meet a man who didn't love bacon. She chuckled and went into the garden. [@joker892]
