I recently bought the 1.5 & 2.5 collection. With that, I beat the first game and I think it still holds up. I guess my only gripe would be the new enemies that drop specific rare items for the Ultima Weapon. Do 100 hits against an opponent for a Serenity Power? I need how many? 

It's not as fast in gameplay as KH2, but not dreadfully slow.
