Taken out of one living hell and dragged into another. What in the world was she thinking when she took that creature’s hand. Was the young woman that desperate to run away? To leave a life filled of nothing but pain in the background? To hope for a much better future only to be disappointed now? The answer was yes. Clearly it was due to the obvious she was here. Inside this beautiful place with more cruel figures und every single corner. The familiar sense of dread filled her heart as they were all shuffled into the crumbling castle.

Her eyes flickered back and forth, as if studying everything around them. Taking very second to be strategic granted that with this newly discovered area escape would be nearly impossible. Then again the native american tried to keep her eyes open from that one single thing that could help out in this specific place. In the corner of the young woman’s right eye was something only she would see. A grey fox sitting down next to one of the pillars, just staring at her at first, though when the figure in front of the room spoke, it looked towards his/her way.

” Go figure you would appear as a grey fox. You’re supposed to help me in times of danger not suggest to keep my mouth shut. I’m not completely stupid.” She thought to herself as the spirit animal cocked it’s head to the right. The girl continued to listen as she rolled her eyes. Yes, it was best to keep quiet in this place due to there being too many what if scenarios but wouldn't it be good to try escaping as well.

The laughing was rather unsettling. What even added to the tricky situation was when a beautiful fox walked inside. His odd coloring causing curiosity to form. He wasn’t like the grey one that was just here not too long ago not adding this one had shâka (nine) tails. Perhaps this animal was a bad omen? Add in the fact the creature’s main body wâpeshkyâwi (white). Where the wâpeshkyâwi would be on a regular wâkoshęha (fox) there was orange. Mahkatęwâwi (black) coloring looked cool in a fan girl way. Granted that this moment of awe was ruined as the creature turned into a human. Go figure the person would turn into the most frustrating thing on the planet.

” Alright. Now I see that my spirit animal was warning me about. At least I hope that it’s not playing a cruel trick again.” Vae glanced around her once again, as if searching for something, before sighing a small bit. ” Alright. I can stay quiet. I doubt that they would enjoy a loud mouth hot head so what if,”

A young man’s words filled the air around the humans, taking her attention off of her present thought. Fae? What was this guy talking about? Yes, the native american had made a stupid deal with some stranger. Yes, it wasn’t the greatest thing she’s ever done in her lifetime. Though what a certain woman was doing wasn’t the best idea.

Being a spitfire is great and all but you need to learn when to use that hot headedness. Vae’s eyes turned towards the loud anger woman and sighed. Her hand working towards the tattoo, which was mostly showing at the moment, making her feel rather strange. Mainly due to there being a real life wâkoshęha fae here. People would most likely get the wrong idea. Granted the tattoo wasn’t for worshipping the guy just a symbol for what her people worshipped. The native american went to shift the object away from prying eyes until being tapped on the shoulder Her eyes glanced upwards as the person placed what felt like a knitted glove on the image as best as possible. “I don’t know why you have this on your skin but I doubt it’s because of that guy. Best to hide the fox tattoo as best as possible.” He said distracting her for what else was happening.

-The Collector-

-Location: The Ruined Lands-

As Elsa stood up and move forward, she would notice the eyes of both Yggdrasil and the UnSeelie's Dark Lord upon her. The golden light of day upon leaves in one, the eerie green of a storm in peak for the other. The UnSeelie King's fist left his cheek to lay upon the arm of his throne of uncomfortable looking black stone to sit straighter. Yggdrasil's own wooden throne with it's velvet lining was far more comfortable looking. Both rulers seemed to pause in their many thoughts, peering down at the mortal with interest. Few of their own kind dared to approach them in such a way, that this one would do so was strange to say the least. A mortal brought to the Fae Realm to be traded like a possession for their servitude. The word 'slave' was a barbaric term used by humans and the centaurs. Other Fae used it as well but like the centaurs it generally referred to the lesser of their animalistic half should they have any to serve them. For the centaurs who were most common for it, it was necessary. Few could bear a centaur foal to full birth without dying.

"Forgive me if I give any offense. It is not intentional. But could someone, please, explain to us what is going to happen now? What is it you expect of us? I realize we are not in control here and I accept that. I would like to know how to earn my way to the best position for survival."

The Collector remained silent, even if he was one of the Wilde Fae he was not about to challenge the Rulers of Seelie and Unseelie on their answer. To him these humans were merely a means to his ends. A source of trade that kept Fae coming to him. Hoping for some deal, that he would easily take advantage of. A Fae owing a favor, or a child, was worth more than any mortal. Yet they came and he traded. To the Rulers he traded for the ability to remain as he was, to not be bothered by their Courts and so they left him in peace. Taking the offering of humans and sorting them between them. The disaster so long ago had cost much, humans- Mortals- were just a way to give them the man-power they were used to.

"Serve?! Serve you?! I am not a slave! I do not serve beasts or nightmares! Least of all some Falcon King and his beast-men court!"

"To serve." The Fae Lord of the Darkness spoke, seemingly ignoring the outburst for the moment. The Fae who remained on the balcony still looked down with interest and cackled. Knowing what would come to these Mortals in time and delighting in it. Some looked down with pity for these lesser beings but still others walked away not caring for the ill or good that would come to a Mortal. They were simply mortals, and mortals were lesser than they. Turning his eyes upon the dark haired woman who kept up such a racket he looked over all the Mortals and they shrunk from his gaze. "You are not a slave. You are not a fox nor a horse. Nor the least of beasts." Yggdrasil leaned back in her/his throne and gave a throaty chuckle of amusement as the Fall King stood. His feathery cloak fell to the floor as he slowly walked forward. Shadows bending so he appeared before the loud and assuming woman. His stormy eyes flashing with lightnings of green as Kaeleer freed her. He had always been fond of his servant, not more than others. But closely fond of him. Picking the woman up with one hand that wore no armor. But a gauntlet swirled till his hand laid bare to the air. "And I am no falcon, mortal-girl." His face was so very close to the girls face as he hissed in a sharp voice that crackled with power. A shimmer of magic before him forming a shield, he fully expected her to spit in his face. And so it would rebound upon her. Foolish Mortal child. "Run little mortal. And when you are brought to me and kneel before my throne you will know mercy was granted that you were requested back alive and intact."

He dropped the girl to the floor roughly, turning to his loyal servants. He waited for the girl to flee, the iron suits would not stop her this time. If she fled, he continued. "Yin. Hunt her down and bring her alive and whole. Harm her if you wish, but she will be able to walk and to work." His eyes sparked with annoyance, silently reminding Yin what would happen if he disobeyed and that Falk was not one for patience when dealing with those who stepped out of line. "The boy goes to Spring, Kaeleer. That Mortal will serve you in his stead." The Lord of Fall gestured, shadows spun about the girl playing with a fox plushie and she suddenly found herself on the UnSeelie side of the room. A smirk playing about the King's mouth as he sat upon the black stoned throne once more. Yin and Kaeleer would be furious with this choice of personal servants for them, but they would not directly disobey him about them. It amused him.

Beside him, Yggdrasil laughed with a sound of leaves stirring in a wind. The twinkling sound called forth thoughts of bells and beauty. "You are very clever, hubby." The dryad rustled at the Fall King who looked irked at the man/woman. "I shall take the mortal who looks oddly, then. For all I said I would give you all the women... She interests me." The dryad tilted their hands, but the Fall King did not oppose them. And so Vae was moved in a whirl of leaves tot he Spring side of the room. A sly smile crossed the Dryad's lips. "And you'll have to watch them for a moon!" Falk looked at the Dryad of the Life Tree of the World sharply about to demand a reason in a roar, but twas interrupted. "I have things I need too look into in my Realm and you- Owe. Me." The Spring and Summer Ruler smiled innocently, and the Fall King let out a curse. For it was true, a favor was owed and so Falk would watch her two hand picked. Lest a Seelie Fae grow jealous of their Lady/Lord's new play things. Gesturing at Kaeleer to make it so, he recalculated his position.

Bodil Bera

Bodil felt him before she saw him. An intense and intimidating aura like smoke tendrils wrapping around her with all the desire in the world to choke out her flickering mortal flame. She swallowed harshly, willing her lung to move no matter what. Drowning in fear is not something the brave did. And she would be brave. Her eyes could not tear themselves away from the wraith of a male who pressed down on her as if she were something under his heel to be crushed. He unsheathed his blade and she dared not look away nor blink nor even move. Gold pins from the gaze the burned to kill would have kept her there anyway.

He spoke words in a lithing language she did not understand, but she could guess from that posture and the gleam of his blade. It seemed that her very realistic revolt to being kidnapped, spirited away and then forced into a meat market wasn't very polite. The dark-haired woman's round eyes narrowed a bit. Screw politeness! They had no right to do this! She had only just escaped one form of enslavement, she didn't need another to take its place! The cold bite of the barest tip of the blade against her skin made her shudder, but her glare did not soften. Her breathing hitched, whether from fear or anger she did not know. Even if she was shaking in her boots, she would not cower!

With a flicker of surprised curiosity as the wraith spoke to her, Bodil blinked but did not back down. And then a glimmer of the monster she knew he was surfaced. It ripped through her like a warrior on the rampage, and while it left her waxen and passed through her with a shiver, she refused to let it show on her face. Her heart could burst from fear, but she would not falter in front of his eyes. Bodil glowered at the wolf, but could not hide her shock when his blade struck her chains and freed her. The sudden release made her stumble a bit, every inch of her mortal self like a child dwarfed under the looming warrior. She rubbed her wrists.

It was the lordly King's turn to try and press her to the ground. His words were like the whispering chill of the wind, whereas his hound's had been the shuddering growl of a beast. And where his beastly warrior held wild and ravaging handsomeness captive, the monarch held the chilling beauty of something completely foreign and silently destructive. His form at one moment was far away and at the next, he was standing before her. Bodil flinched but she had no chance to get away when the cold slender fingers of his bare hand wrapped around her neck. He said she was not a slave, but without choice or will to live free, wild animals had more rights to themselves than she or the others.

Lifted up, Bodil's face was inches from the hissing king and all his piercing and painful beauty. Her hands grasped the beautiful but strangling hand that held her up in the air, lips parting to struggle for air. This king bit into more with the closeness of his words and visage than any biting animal could. In his talons, as he snapped at her, and yet he said he was no falcon! Run? He didn't have to tell her twice. But he would be sorely mistaken if he thought she would return to him! "I..." she gasped, "do not...belong...to you!"

There lay the core of it. She would not be owned. And when he dropped her, she hit the floor painfully and with a short-lived cry. Lean arms and strong but slender legs scrambled up to set Bodil on her own two feet. Her dark hair ruffled from her tumble and her petite body held as straight and proud as any warrior. With one last glare at the man-handling fae, she lept off center stage with every grace of a dancer and with the speed of a newly released sparrow. And she ran.

Bodil might not be brave in the eyes of the Fae, but she was strong and bold enough to defy them. She did not bend to her fear, but struggled, grappled and rose above it. Others could scorn her battle all they liked, but in the end, they were still bound to the market and she was given a taste of freedom. And even just a taste was enough, for it was more than none at all. Breakneck speed her feet carried her, straight through the door of the decaying palace of horrors that belonged to the Collector. She flew with every strong elegance of a leaping doe and sailed past the iron suits. With arms, legs and blood pumping, she finally smiled.

And that smile was like the breaking sun on the most ominous, dark and cloudy day.

Raposo~Yin

Yin inhaled and his features shifted. That human....that human had the nerve to speak as if she was something other then a servant. The gleam of trickery was gone from his eyes instead his eyes took on a harder more stone like look to them. A frigid coolness enveloped him. She could insult yin all she wanted, but insulting the king. That was simply not acceptable. His tails and ears made a reappearance and the stillness of that many appendages was more unnerving then their appearance. Where falk was like deep pools and the hound was more straight forward. Yin's serious appearance was more like stepping too close to ice.

Yin tilted his head toward the hound as he was spoken to. His eyes in a half lidded with the sheer irritation from the human. Large ears flicked and there was a twitch of his mouth. A different form of yin was standing there now...and this one was not something to take as lightly as his more humorous self. His hands clasped behind his back as he watched the hound move to the human and his mouth gave another twitch as they interacted.

As soon as the chains broke the entirety of the kitsune's form tensed with anticipation. With the hounds words he gave a simple head nod, then watched as falk interacted. As falk spoke to him there was a deeper head nod. "Of course my lord. I would hate to deprive the court of a functioning servant." There was a brittleness to his voice. A cool tone paired with his red rimmed eyes. He then moved. The movements were elegant...cat like as he reached the pole after the human left. There was a slight inhale as he took in the scent of the waif. He would give her a head start. Her scent after all was drunk with fear which made the smell so easy to pick up.

As yin turned he paused seeing a darker toned woman. But that is not what caught his eye. Rather what appeared to be a brand on the human. Swift movements resulted with her being merely inches away from her. Claws made an appearance as he lightly moved the cloth of her shirt away from her skin. "Human...why are you branded with the image of my kin?" Being that he was still in a serious mood, his tone was more a cool purr. In his mind he was still tracking time from when the waif ran to when he would chase her. Falk would be able to tell along with the hound that while he seemed distracted, he was simply biding his time for now.

Yusuke

Yusuke had been barely paying attention to the chaos occurring around him. Rather he seemed to be absorbing the details around him. His hand paused on closing his sketch book as if he wanted to create more images. He managed to snap out of it when the one woman snapped. Bad idea. these are fae....you know not the consequences you face He was indeed the least like a fighter in the room. His form, while clearly toned, would never yield a weapon. His hands themselves were proof of that with their soft texture now paired with a soft coating of color.

Yusuke watched the scene unfold before him and decided against putting it to paper. This scene was too...dangerous. Not that that didn't make it more tempting for him, but he knew when things could turn sour for him. Grey eyes moved as the fae did, taking in each detail and memorizing it to heart. This realm wa full of inspiration...he probably wouldn't even fight staying here. He blinked as a voice hit him. His head tilting causing a strand of blue black hair to slid over his face. "My lord i thank you for the good words. As for my name...I do not think i am capable of saying it" He gave a slight bow of his head before he proceeded to open the book.

"Your entrance was quite awe inspiring. Not that others were not as well...i simply was inspired." His voice was a warm monotone. A sound that was pleasing to the ears, and the image itself. The detail was incredible for something that did not take him an exceedingly long amount of time. The hound could probably spot yin and his reaction captured easily on the paper. The most fascinating part was the the hound was in his wolfish shape with his fae shape lightly drawn in light a ghost or shadow. Smoke around him with a ferocity that should not be captured that well on paper. "I do hope you enjoy it"

Then, yusuke found himself blinking. His hands still holding the book open as the seelie court claimed him. "I am honored your highness" It is now clear that yusuke is not the more normal of humans after all. This could very well get him killed later.

Vae Lynn SaDablio

Vae’s body tensed as the man slowly inched away from her. The simple object lingering in place as her eyes followed. When the person had vanished from the girl’s view her head turned towards what seemed like the most powerful figures in the room. Running would be rather useless if these creatures were actually fae, though those with a more animistic trend would possibly feel the need to chase down their prey. Leaving the huge percentage of death to linger over one’s head. A fact some of these people have forgotten already.

Stroking they’re egos seemed to have an intoxicating effect on them. Wonderful if one wanted either a swift death or a life of comfort. Correction. A semi peaceful existence in this time of horror. Perhaps this lack of emotions would play to both her disadvantage as well as her advantage. Do they even smell the fear which was possible seeping out of these humans like some sort of perfume? The woman sighed as if to answer her own pondering.

” Most likely. If they’re anything like the old legends then they would be able to smell every’s in this room. For those who don’t have the sweetened aroma then they would pay no mind. So what is it that makes them tick?” Her eyes wandered the room again catching a fae speaking to someone strange.

” Where’s the common factor between these faes. The anemôha (dog) seemed to be engulfed with an artist. Wâkoshęha to a fellow music lover. Wait… these two were never looked at until they started mimicking their everyday lives. Is it curiosity which drives them? Is this the whole picture which I’m missing? Or is this just one of many puzzle pieces? I need to learn more about these creatures. Yet I feel as if I need to keep away from the wâkoshęha. So frustrating.” The woman thought to herself.

The same old card that being dealt out and all new player. Vae sighed in frustration. This game was the most vile thing to place on all of them. A game which she was hoping to walk out of entirely yet here the young woman stood. No older than 16 and being sold for whatever they had in store. A perfect fucking start to a new god damn life. Fan fucking fabulous. The native american attempted to quiet her flooding thoughts and listened closely to the next part of what deemed like a never ending speech.

” Wait, what about odd woman!?” The girl mentally screamed as a mass of bells ringing and shifting wind which was filled her sight. Once they were gone she groaned in irritation. ” Make a deal with a kind man from your school and you wind being someone’s plaything. What’s next? The impregnation of slaves to increase Fae population? No way in will I be apart of that little plan.”

This was the world they lived in now. One wrong move, one wrong word, a single emotions could wind up biting them in the ass. Well all except for what the on male human figured out and to be honest being humbled wasn’t so bad. After all the native american a massive amount of practice with this single thing. Ironic that her family and boyfriend came to the rescue in a time in need. A simple rattling sound caused the teenager’s head to turned towards the newly formed scene. Well New to her anyways.

The man seemed really high alert after scrolling away from the spitfire, as if he was hunting for a fresh kill within a group, though the moments were much much eloquent. Was this the way of all Fae or just his one? Her mind slowly shifting like gears moving a machine. Granted that this didn't last long. As if reading Vae’s mind the wâkoshęha walked towards her. No, walking the correct word for his movements. Too common for a thing like this fae. Dancing fitted much better in this scene. Though when the guy leaned close and pulled opened her shirt things felt unbelieving uncomfortable. Naturally the girl leaned backwards as if to grant the man more moving area.

” My shâka tailed wâkoshęha lord, as much as I’m honored for your attention I must respectfully ask that you take a step back. I am unaccustomed for someone someone to come towards me without intent to harm. As for you remarkable question the band is a symbol of my tribe. koshęha is highly respected for my people.” She said in the most respectful toned manner as possible for her. ” As for my personal reason I have it as a reminder of my home though I’m very happy that my spirit animal kind decided to see me personally.”

Melinda L. Holstead

Melinda held her fox plushie tightly and had a bit of a shiver down her spine when she saw the King told the woman who outburst that she can have her freedom. She felt shadows surrounding her and moved her to the other side of the building, that had power behind to it. ”What the…? That King has some power to move me… and did he say I belong to the hellhound,” Melinda thought to herself, impressed with the Fae but magic isn’t around in the modern era. She held her fox plushie between her arms. She had a shiver down her spine because she remembered the hellhound’s anger towards that one woman. She had a smile only on her face mostly because of the hellhound’s golden eyes and they were different. Her eyes looking down at her fox plushie with a slight smile on her face.

Melinda looked around the building and felt like whatever this is going on was about to end. She could tell that from hearing what the Fae King and Queen was talking about. ”Favor? I guess that’s important in this world. I will keep that in mind,” Melinda thought to herself, with a slight smile on her face. She enjoys learning new things but she had been coddled way too much by her parents. She was constantly escorted everywhere by her family’s bodyguards. She had always wanted to learn something new on her own instead of being guarded by her parents or her family’s bodyguards. ”I am saddened that my only way to learn something new. Is in a whole new world without my parents being alive...,” Melinda thought to herself, holding her fox plushie even more tightly.

Melinda looked down to her fox plushie and smiled at all the good memories from her childhood. Her eyes blink a bit of certain things mostly the fact the fox Yin is going to chase the women who wanted to have freedom. ”Something tells me that’s not going to well for her,” Melinda thought to herself, while looking at her plushie. She held onto her plushie and looked at the ground.

General Kaeleer Savant

Before the punishment handed down to the sharp-tongued woman was given, the young artist responded to Kaeleer's inquiry. The wolf took general interest in this boy. His artwork rivaling that of masters and yet he was still a child. The intricacies within the piece itself were impressive at least. The detailing within the rolling black fog, the way the hairs on his wolf form whipped about, the intensity of the dirt lifting off the ground with each paw hitting the ground and the pièce de résistance-

Savant grinned wide as he glanced over towards the kitsune before chuckling. He brought his attetnion back over to the young human with a softer gaze.

"You captured Yin quite nicely. That mixed look of agitation and fear is befitting of the fox...I ask if I may keep this. It is something to entertain myself with for some time."

However, when he requested the young boy, Faulk had denied him of his servant, earning the slightest glower from the wolf which only became a snarl when he glanced at his weeping prize. Was this punishment for his decision with the sharp-tongued girl? If so, it was an unnecessary exchange. Glancing at the weeping woman he snarled and let out a growl as he sheathed his blade with frustration showing in his movements. She reeked of fear and terror and although Savant did enjoy it, her actions were unbecoming of a servant of Savant and damned be Faulk if he would bare an heir with her too.

"My Lord, your decision making compares to none but I ask why you would offer me this gracious gift of a weeping widow instead of the boy. I am sure you have your reasons but I am curious. But may I suggest my lord if I may pick another? The one adorned in fox art be too much?"

He kept his head low in respect to his Fall King so not to sound to far on the opposition of the situation. Despite his past with Faulk and his known history of protest he knew when to use a silver tongue. He would not want such weakness within his domain as they tend to disappear quickly. Those however, who showed no fear during the Gathering were highly desirable to the Wraith of War and tended to live longer than those who did. The boy of art or the woman adorned in fox would do nicely.

-The Collector-

-Location: The Ruined Lands-

Outside of the ruined hall the land was nothing short of rubble. The sky above was stormy though no rain fell and sunlight was scattered, making the hollow structures appear all the more ancient. Forgotten relics of a long ago time. Bodil would see these things that looks like the old ruins of some cathedral or castle. A mixture of the two. The half fallen walls were covered in vines and moss. Scattering browns and greens across their molten surfaces. The steps down from the entrance to the hall where she had came were cracked and worn in the middle, at their base was not grass but moss. Stagnant water swirled in multicolored pools. Smaller streams trickled through the cracked stones and moss carpet. But not all was complete ruin, half finished repairs were in place and scattered throughout. Though much seemed yet undisturbed from the slumber of the ruins. Light filled the entrance to the another hall, ruined columns holding the frame to an ancient arch with a hexagonal design. Another arch- more fit to a single person- appeared to curve around a old pillar with a obivious window above it. That entry was nearest. The middle distance to her right was another arch leading to what could only be a wall of some sort.

Back within the ruined hall, Yggdrasil hissed with a sound of rattling leaves. "Take some care, Kitsune." The light and feathery voice had darken to a dangerous tone of echoing timber. "That woman does not belong to you, bearing the mark of your kin or no." She/He narrowed the gleaming yellow-green eyes at the interloping kitsune. The beautiful hands looking far more like sharpened staves then was reasonable. It was wise of those who understood the Fae to know that their anger was not something to awaken. For they were vicious beings. Yggdrasil was not overly tempered, nor protective. But what belong to a Fae, belonged to them. There would be blood over what they were owed or held. Those who gave in were considered weak. Lesser.

"My Lord, your decision making compares to none but I ask why you would offer me this gracious gift of a weeping widow instead of the boy. I am sure you have your reasons but I am curious. But may I suggest my lord if I may pick another? The one adorned in fox art be too much?"

Falk's eyes were watching the dryad as Yggdrasil riled themself. But he was unconcerned in the over all scheme. Should the great being seek Yin's life he was already weighing the concerns of stepping in and diverting the insult one of his men committed or let the kitsune take it's punishment. Turning his gaze to the General, he arched a brow looking with disapproval at not being understood. "I did not mean that girl-child, Savant." He states dryly, his voice like a crackle of leaves. "When Yin returns with that mortal hellion... She will serve you. Yin would be pushed to far." The Lord of the UnSeelie looked amused at the entire situation, swirling a glass of wine that appeared out of the air. Kaeleer would know this as the glass he had been having before he called the hunt. The Lord of Fall rarely let a glass of wine go to waste. Sipping at it the King continued. "I will have this brave woman play for our Court. I would be interested in seeing how she can play when pitted against a Fae. Even a Mortal may surpass us in music." His gaze swept over Elsa as he continued to muse the placement of the new servants. "My General, bring the small lass with the doll, that woman Yin has taken interest in, and the painter boy to my hall." Glancing to Yggdrasil he tilted his head in a courteous nod of respect. "I would advise you not to kill my servant, and did you not have your own projects to attend to yourself?" Giving Kaeleer a sharp look clearly ordering the General to follow through he stood with the grace of ages. Turning on his heels into a whirls of smoke and wind that blurred about him. When it cleared he was gone. Back to his Ancient Hall and Throne of Bones.

The General would know he was to see the humans to the hands of the servants of the UnSeelie Court. Save those his king had mentioned of course. The servants would see that these humans were put where they could aid the most. Freeing up more Fae to guard, or work on repairs mere Mortals could not do. Many Fae were irritated at this need for servants, while just as many others wanted to up the demand for humans. With so many Mortals, why would Fae need to lift a finger? Two dangerous factions that both Royals walked between. Fantics would kill the humans, or release them. Underground markets held humans in thrall. Though that was rare. When found the humans were wiped of their memories and freed. Or remained under better conditions. Still their memories of that time was generally wiped, and by the King of the UnSeelie himself no less. That was an entire nother matter that caused uproar.

It was joke to Falk that humans- Mortals- thought them serene creatures.

Elsa swallowed hard. So it seemed she would be serving the... Fall Court? From the little information she could gather from the bits of conversation between the fae she concluded her new place was better than she could have hoped for. And if the jealous looks she received were any indication she was envied her position by others, even a few of the fae.
She could only pray they had a piano. Otherwise she was screwed. Unless they considered singing music and even then her true talent lay in the ivory keys. In this area she was fully confident she could at the very least satisfy them.

The King vanished and Elsa let out the breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding. It was as if a great tension in the air had suddenly lessened, allowing everyone to relax a little more. Elsa sincerely hoped she could avoid catching the King's notice. Even if he was sinfully attractive...

She shook her head sharply, knocking the foolish thoughts away. Since when had she cared about such things? Never.
You'd have to be dead not to notice and feel attracted to the otherworldly beauty of the fae, but Elsa prided herself on being very practical. She was not a romantic and didn't believe in love.

Clearing her throat slightly, she looked at the wolf-man. Hesitating only briefly, she approached him carefully.
"What should I do?" Elsa asked. "I'm not certain how things work in this world. You seem to be of high rank. What is the best way to keep my head attached to my body?"

Raposo~Yin

Yin raised a brow as the woman spoke, his claw still holding her shirt and he did not seem to be moving by her wanting. "...I know not of which you speak human. Your tongue is unfamiliar to me." He gave a slow blink. "Although what I do understand does grace me." His tone was still cool and he paused. Upon hearing yggdrasil the claw moved away from the shirt and he was away from the human and in front of the rulers with an elegant speed that was almost off putting.

Yin kneeled, showing a deep respect. His tails falling down and his ears angling in a respectful way. "My apologies your highness I meant no intrusion. My curiosity received the upper hand against me." He then stood and flicked his ears. "Speaking of hellion...I shall return shortly with the servant in hand." He bent at the waist with his arms behind him in a different sort of formality before he turned and walked. As he did so the fae features left him in favor for fox. The nine tailed creatures daintily bounded off in the direction of bodil with a sort of glee that was probably not normal.

Yin made his way through the ruins, occasionally taking his spirit form in order to get to the end even faster. He transversed his way through until he reached the three way entrance ways. His form shifting to his face once more as he stood with his hands clasped behind his back. He wanted the human to reach the end....only to find him. In fact, he might even let her choose one of the ways and go through it...just to continue the chase.

Yusuke

A rare mouth twitch of a smile graced yusuke's face, his grey eyes filling with happiness at the hound's words. His head tilted causing a strand of blue black hair to move across his face. "I thank you for that." He paused then folded the end of the drawing. The part where the paper was held in the book, was then smoothly torn out of the book. He lightly handed it over with a head tilt. "If i recall correctly about your kind sir this type of act would result in a favor." Grey visible eye held some form of humor. "But i ask for none when it comes to art. If it brings you enjoyment that is all that matters to me"

Yusuke clearly knew quite a bit about fae lore thanks to his heritage. The question was, should this be something to be worried about or would the painter end up getting himself killed still. He then found his eyes drawn to the conflict. Hands still holding the book as if he was to shut it, he reopened the pages and out came the colors once more. The scene of the fox kneeling before the more feral looking Yggdrasil was too much to resist to him. Hands moving quickly and colors flying over the piece grey eyes moving between piece and scenario.

Once more, yusuke blew excess colors off of the sheet, careful to avoid getting them on the individuals near to him and his head tilted. This place...was quite beautiful. He could spend eternity here and never run out of inspiration. Another mouth twitch at the thoughts. He was bound to be trapped here anyway....though was it really trapping when the individual had no desire to leave? His eyes moved upward once more and carefully, he closed the book and replaced everything in his backpack before slinging it over his shoulder. His posture straight as he nodded to the hound. He was clearly the odd one there, willing to move about as asked. There was soft whispering about the oddity that was yusuke, but by how the guy was standing it was even more clear he did not care about the other humans feelings toward him.

Erin Céleste

Lightning. Everything always started with lightning for Erin. Even her own life.
Now, it seemed the lightning would send her off as well.

It was a storm worth remembering, at least. Ever since sunrise it had been raining cats and dogs- not literally, but it certainly seemed possible with how much rainwater was building up on the street outside the little bakery's front picture window. The script "Panadería Céleste" written in green on the window was easily seen against the mixed grays of the storm as Erin looked out at the streetlamps now flickering to life as the day came to a close. The store was closing too, though it had been empty all day anyway. No one wanted to brave the elements on a day like today for simple pastries they could just get later, once nature had run its course. She was glad no one had tried to, honestly. People die in weather like this.

Normally, Erin was the kind of person to warn people away from dangerous situations, though most didn't take her very seriously. Today though, it seemed like that had changed. Everyone she spoke to took her advice- and she'd even managed to convince her mother not to go out today. That morning as the woman was just about to leave, she just listened to Erin instead. I guess wishes do come true...

Erin was cleaning the front room, humming as she swept up the dust that had collected on the floor over the slow day. Or, at least she was until a crash of thunder and a whispering voice broke her happy tune. "TemIdMehEn TemOrr CenOrrMehEn TemOrr WehOrrNoDiEnRinLaAmNoDi..." The words were nonsense. She closed her eyes for a moment as they came back, repeating themselves as she tried to decipher their meaning. It took her a while to realize that she didn't really recognize this voice. "CenOrrMehEn... CenOrrMehEn TemOrr WehOrrNoDiEnRinLaAmNoDi WehIdTemHa MehEn..."

After a while the sound of the rain and the thundering outside faded away, and all she could hear was the quiet voice in her mind, until that too stopped. Confused, she opened her eyes again, only to find she was not where she’d ought to be.

Pale sunlight filtered through cracked and broken windows, only to land on an old stone floor riddled with holes where moss and other plant-life forced themselves to the surface. Suits of armor and strange creatures lined the walls of the room, while those around Erin seemed to be human. They all looked confused, some hurt, others terrified or angered. There was much chatter, from both the group and the monsters surrounding them- none of which Erin understood. Snippets of english phrases would catch her attention, but the native speakers of the tongue went too quickly for her to make much of it. A few tried to speak to her, but she brushed them away easily. "No comprendo nada que está haciendo. I don't understand you."

For at least an hour this went on. Luckily, her voices came back before too long. The silence had been more worrying to her than anything. Moving forward, they would help her think through all of this, though they didn't seem to know what was going on here either, so they weren't much help yet. More people appeared, and the cycle of confusion continued as each new person tried to figure out the same things the rest of them still didn't know: "Why are we here?" or "Where even is here?" People kept trying to talk to her, and she kept saying the same thing. Eventually, she moved to go sit in one of the corners of the room, whe hopefully she wouldn't be bothered so much.

"Welcome to my collection, mortals."

Words. Words she couldn't understand but felt like she should have. Words said by a thing which bowed to the group of confused humanity before another thing began talking. Erin recognized the words "Pretty", "Husband", and "Queen". What was going on?. The man which spoke to them first spoke more, interrupted a couple times by the one sitting on the throne. It seemed that whatever speech he gave was meant to be taken as an order by the group, because as soon after the words stopped people began walking to one side of the room or the other. Erin didn't move. She had no idea why she would need to. This was a nice corner.

As Erin sat there, things started to get interesting. A fox with nine tails appeared, and turned into a man with nine tails. Not too much later a giant wolf appeared, and turned into a giant man. By the time the next man appeared, she expected him to turn into a little bird or something, just to throw them all off.
"Ne~ That would be the thing to do, wouldn't it?"
"They want you to be confused. Just watch the Fox-man."
"Chi! He's pulling people around? What, did they choose the wrong side of the room?"

Just.. leave the other people alone.
"Ne~ This place is dangerous, isn't it?"
"Chi! We should go."
"You should leave, like right now."

I can't. I don't want them to try and talk to me. we wouldn't understand each other.
"Ne~ They really wouldn't understand Spanish?"
"You could try speaking English."
"Chi! Which one would we even talk to?"

Well, considering that people were running around and leaving, there weren't many left there that she really could try to speak to. The wolf-man didn't seem too busy at the moment. Erin stood and sighed, stretching for a second before beginning to walk towards the man. "¿Hola?" She spoke quietly at first, wondering if he'd noticed her yet. Once she was near him she stopped walking, keeping a respectful distance. "Perdóname."

"¿Podrías ayudarme, por favor? Dime qué está pasando. ¿Por qué un lobo? ¿Por qué nos movemos en grupos? ¿por qué ese es un zorro? ¿Por qué es todo esto suceda? Her tone was as calm as she could make it. She spoke clearly in spanish and then tried to translate for herself in English. "Help me please? I don't understand anything... You, him, this all. Tell me please. No entiendo nada."

Melinda L. Holstead

Melinda heard what the king had said and felt, she was wrong about what she had interrupted from the king. ”Oh I need to stop jumping to conclusions. My parents told me I have a problem with that,” Melinda thought to herself, while holding her fox plushie. She was in a bit of shock when the King up and vanished. She had a look of how did he do that but she came to realize quickly she’s in a world where magic actually exists. ”That is wonderful I am going to enjoy it here more than my other life. Only because I had to be in the meetings with that CEO Lady. It was boring to say the least,” Melinda thought to herself, holding her plushie a bit tighter. She was grateful that Natalie sent her here instead of dealing with trying to take her revenge against the mafia for her parent’s deaths.

Melinda had a small smile on her face while she looks at her fox plushie. She blinked a bit when she heard a language she had only heard in class, which was Spanish. ”That’s strange I guess there’s a human that speaks fluent Spanish here. Those classes were hard to understand, it went over my head most of the time,” Melinda thought to herself, a bit frustrated in remembering her Spanish class but at least the teacher was nice. She always had fond memories of listening to that teacher speak in Spanish, she was an excellent teacher. Her eyes were staring at her fox plushie and had a smile on her face.

Melinda looked up and wondered when they will be escorted to the Fall King’s territory but she stayed quiet since she wanted to think of fond memories. She looked around and noticed that Yin wasn’t here anymore, probably chasing the ‘hellion.’ ”Sir Fox is fast. He is definitely unique. The fantasy animes I’ve seen only shows female kitsune of beauty and elegance,” Melinda thought to herself, with a delightful smile on her face at the fact she adores foxes, mostly because of all her fox plushies at home. Her grip on her fox plushie was somewhat loosened since she moved its face to hers and hugged it tightly. ”My Plushie Foxy is in awe about Sir Fox,” Melinda thought to herself, while staring at her fox plushie directly in the eye.

Vae Lynn SaDablio

Even though the reality of death clung to the air like an invisible smoke, which no one but those closest to the fox would feel, slowly twisted into an natural feeling inside the girl. In all honestly it wasn’t fear which seeped into her frame. Nor was it completely anger that attempted to morph her vision into nothingness. Why should the young woman be afraid of these fae? After all it was just simply moving from one abusive situation to another. As the claw upon the school uniform her head slowly shifted to her left, as if attempting to see through the fox’s soul.

” My native tongue is strange for most. As you can imagine communication is quite a struggle for my people. Perhaps one day I’ll be able to tell you all about us.” Vae said as a sour taste formed in her mouth. ” As it should my lord. Considering no other compares to your graceful prowess. No one compares to such beauty. Even now I’m stunned to think of any would would come close to your greatness.” Vae remarked before a different voice spoken towards the Fae.

"Take some care, Kitsune." The light and feathery voice had darken to a dangerous tone of echoing timber. "That woman does not belong to you, bearing the mark of your kin or no."

This reaction seemed rather strange. So far some had been shuffled to one side of the room yet this creature was acting as if they already owned the teenager. Most times Vae would have lost her temper and gave the person a piece of her mind than again one wrong word would bring death ever closer, a small dash towards the outside would result in a nine tailed fox running after her, so what would agreeing with such a powerful figure result in? Would if force another Fae’s hand against this woman or would they bow down asking for forgiveness? Thankfully the troublemaker was about to give her one of many future answers.

The teenager’s thoughts over flowed as she watched the once curious fox dance away as if she has some invisible illness. Granted some of the wonders were answered as soon as the creature’s features moved in a much more submissive mode. ” Interesting. So in this world they have claim to their favored humans. When another of their kind over step this seemingly fragile line our ‘owners’ put them in their place. I wonder what would happen if the instigator continued with their actions? I’ll have to make a mental note of this moment.”

"My Lord, your decision making compares to none but I ask why you would offer me this gracious gift of a weeping widow instead of the boy. I am sure you have your reasons but I am curious. But may I suggest my lord if I may pick another? The one adorned in fox art be too much?"

Honestly it was very understandable that the hound would want a new servant. Considering the female’s childish personality. Some would question if she was mentally sane or not just by her odd speech pattern. Yes, in some situations crying is the correct course of action but is now really tone of those times? The answer would be no. Not unless you wanted to have your life turned into a living hell. Then again Vae could step into this fairly over dramatic scene and attempt to help her out. Question is would the lesson sink in then… Most likely not.

The one thing the young woman didn’t expect was the hound asking for her as a trade in. Oh, how much she wanted to walk over there and smack the back of his head. The craving was just on the tip of the human’s tongue only for a different colored spirit animal to slowly creep from behind the man’s leg. This was seemed to be the color white, meaning that there was magic near by, which was rather ironic considering where they were at. Not adding to the fact that this Fae just recently showed is hidden hand of cards, forcing Vae to tone everything else out and try to piece the spirit animal’s meaning about magic.

Bodil Bera

A sparrow like mortal flew past the great gaping arches like a deer through a forest. Every movement was graceful, agile, quick, but also very human. Booted feet hit the ground in a heartbeat pounding, thick pants and tightly closed jacket still encasing her. Her only possessions were on the small backpack-like purse, tightly secured over her shoulders. It felt good to run, to feel the strain of air through her lungs, to have nothing holding her back.

Surprising, that this fantasy land of magical fae be so in ruin. The overcast sky glowered down at it in heavy disapproval, threatening rain on the decay. Pillars of sunlight were able to break through and brush tender hands over the land though, a relief in the gloom. A land of forgotten glory and decaying beauty. What had made such disaster etch its nail through this place, scarring it so immensely?

Vines crept like snakes over crumbled walls, tree roots broke the ground's surface like rebellious dolphins, and thorny bushes over took what might have been lovely painstakingly detailed stone decor. Moss took over where grass should have been, calm waiting waters pooled in well worn holes of land, shimmering in unusual ways. Hushed escaping streams seeped through rock faces and traveled the spidery veins of the ruins. Unfinished restorations stood like overturned cradles in the land of crumbling ancients.

Bodil ran. She lept over water and skirted struggling plants, the arches looming overhead like the rib cage of some long dead beast. The sky grumbled at her entertaining break for freedom. The wind whispered around her, flowing across her Rosen cheeks, pulling her towards where she should go. And the human followed. The furthest arch. Th wind whipped up and she pumped her legs as hard as they could go, to the point of burning pain in her muscles.

And she came to a stumbling sliding halt as the monsterous face of that fox beast who paraded as a man stood ever so calmly before her. Her dark hair tussled about her flushed face, chest rising and falling to suck in as much breath as it could from such a punishing sprint. Her hard and determined eyes locked on the beast man. She would not go down without a fight. He would have to drag her back!

Bodil charged and with a burst of effort tried to spin so she could move past him, in a last move of trickery, a desperate warrior who would attain their freedom.

General Kaeleer Savant

Prior

Kaeleer almost snarled when reminded of favors. He did not delve in favors however, if one was presented to him he would have no option than to accept. A curse of the Fey if one was so inclined to say. Then the boy shook it off, supposedly freeing the wolf from the owed favor, but Kaeleer knew better. He kept his voice low.

"As much as I despise owing favors to others keep in mind that there is still a favor to be owed. When you are ready just call upon me."

Kaeleer gave a light nod before standing back up.

Kaeleer kept his head low when he was addressed by Fall itself, reminded that it was that hateful woman who would serve him and not the graveling mess of a female. He was not one to handle sadness that well but hatred and fear he knew. He nodded in response. A twitch of the mouth reciprocated the statement about Yin's temperance towards her and knew that Yin would kill her before night's fall.

"Very well m'lord. It shall be done. I will have my best men accompany me back to the kingdom."

With a bow he rose up and turned his gaze towards the humans, gesturing for them to stand. One of the young females approached them, causing his rather intimidating gaze to glance down at her. She asked about survival, what the best way to keeping one's life as a human in the Fey. The wolf glanced around the grounds, taking notice to his men who were positioned in a way that should anything have happened, Fall would have the advantage. A second woman approached and begun speaking in tongues he had never heard before. He narrowed his eyes and cocked his head before sighing. Kaeleer glanced back down at the two females before leaping away, gracefully reverting into his massive wolf form and slowly crept up to them before his massive head looked at her directly.

"Listen...Do as you're told. You not need worry about me killing any of you so long as you don't attempt to threaten me. Though, I don't you could. However that Kitsune is a bit of a problem and our lord has standards that are to be met. Do so and you will be taken care of. Failure to do so-" He began to walk away.

"-will result in your lonesome death within the Fall Court. Now come with me. We are heading back to the court."

As he walked he let out a howl that seemed to echo around them and the sound of falling rubble, moving trees and other sounds became audible as five figures joined them. From the trees, a man who was adorned in bluish armor with chain mail spaulders which ran along his arm stepped forward from the wooded side of the ruins, sheathing a blade that glowed a vibrant orange before transforming into a large white dire wolf before joining Kaeleer in the front. A woman and another male appeared from above them in the shadows amongst the large archways that over-looked the gathering below, both placing their bows over their torso and leapt off, forming into two small ravens that swooped overhead of the group and continued on. From behind the thrones, a gnome appeared with a slight skip to his step as he left a small portal that disappeared behind him and finally, with heavy hooves, a rather petite looking creature whose gender was unknown. The gnome and satyr-like creature joined the rear of the group. The travel would be long but the humans were well guarded. The White Wolf, The whispering blade, Commander Felix Kavar, the two ravens, Sergeants Saem and Saleen Utaire, the Gnome, 2nd Lt. Keegan O'Leary and the Saytr-like creature, 1st Lt. Samael Orchid.

Samhain Intrigues

-Location: Road to the North-

The Ruined Land was it was called. Ancient ruins left from a golden age of the Fae. Some had tried to rebuild it, perhaps even the Collector himself with those who were collected. For one did not just simply hand off a piece of a collection. That large gathering had been a old bargain for a set group of a set amount at a set date. The grey robed figure did nothing as a pale man led those from the Seelie side of the room towards the South. He was perhaps merely five foot nine, not overly tall, but his amethyst eyes glittered with a cruel gleam as his steps echoed with a bell like chime. Long pointed ears jutted out from his pale hair that dragged on the ground behind him. The general and sentinel of the UnSeelie would know this as Lucien. A wicked unicorn with a perchant for cruelty that made many suspect he was originally from the UnSeelie's Winter Court. Dressed in silver silk and plated metal, he bore no weapon and needed none. For the Unicorn was more a mage than a fighter. Relying on his horn and hooves as weapons enough. Giving a sneer to the Kaeleer, his laugh was something of joke on unicorn purity. A wicked whickering. "Have fun watching My Ruler's toys, Savant. And may the Fate see them harmed under your care." The gleam in those eyes spoke that he was going to enjoy the tears his charges shed. A unicorn's favorite treat. He did not stop for another word, but moved his 'herd' to the South. Brutally yanking and hurling both Yusuke and Vae Lynn from the others. This merely urged the rest of the fleeing mob to exit faster to avoid the Unicorn's ire.

His Lady/Lord had long since left. Having no need to oversee this standard procedure. They had business else where and with higher beings than a lot of Mortals. With the current political situation? It was not wise to leave those who argued for or against you waiting. Something both Falk and Yggdrasil agreed on.

As the Hound turned North with his charges, outside of the ruined hall the land was much as it had been when Bodil had fled. But there were two well worn paths, hardly visible to any save a Fae under the water and moss. One led South, the other North. The Northern one actually became a road after a few hours of walking. Cobbled with a variety of riverside stones. The hills slowly becoming more so as the Ruined Land fell behind the group. Trees appearing more and more frequent till a few hours after they had spied the road's start they were in a lightly scattered forest. The trees in the green color of late Summer. The leaves just starting to turn. Flittering pixies and brownies scurried between their bush and branch homes. Watching the Mortals and Immortals pass. Stags and does watched as well, before returning to their feast. It was a typical forest, growing all the more dense as they moved deeper into it. Only to be broken up after a time by cottages, huts, small farmsteads. A river snaked along the path for sometime, giving view to a waterwheel house and a small waterfall. Were a woman looked up from her washing. She would look completely human save the two large black wings upon her back. Raising a hand she hailed the General and his charges, but merely in friendly greeting. One of the brides to Falk's tengu soldiers who recognized her husband's commander. Perhaps even a relative of his two Sargents. Soon the Forest revealed massive glades and mountains. The former holding villages, even a small town. The latter standing tall in the North. Snow capped they crowned the top of the world like a crown.

Oddly fitting their secrets and their Ruler's Hall. Which rested near their feet. It would be a month should the road and weather prove fruitful. Pass the Mountains was the land of Winter. that wrapped back to the South and bled into the Spring Lands.

Before the human could spin around him his form became semi transparent. An arm that would have touched him simply passing through him. He re solidified and watched the human run. A gleeful predatory smile stretched on his face before he calmly trotted through her. His movements becoming silent as he became transparent again just to walk through the human much like a ghost it probably would not be the most comfortable experience. As he walked further ahead he re solidified and turned to face her. His head tilted and a wicked smile on his face. "Now tell me human....how much fun are you going to provide me?" There was a tail wave through all nine of his tails as he stood there.

Slowly, yin crossed his arms as he stared down the human. It was a month long journey to the fall court and he would either be having a very large amount of fun on the way there or he would be deprived of all the gleeful thoughts he had and reduced to a more boring trip. At least the waif had energy...it had been awhile since the last human he had....herded. Then again now that human was a mindless servant who constantly screamed in the night...silently that is. Unfortunately that particular human was dead now, but at least they were fun while they lasted. Fragile creatures they were.

Yusuke

Yusuke blinked as he soon found his attention snagged by a man with extremely long hair and very pointed ears. His head tilted as he absorbed each tiny detail. This distraction however, meant that he was very easily snagged and shoved. He caught himself before he could really have something embarrassing happen and straightened before walking. He was not going to argue with a creature like that. By the sound of the laugh he figured it was some form of equine, but he was not about to ask him what he was.

Along the month journey Yusuke was rather quiet. Though, his head was up and turning taking in everything. The place was beautiful, so much inspiration! At some points he would actually have his sketch book out while he walked, carefully sketching what he was seeing while also making sure he didn't fall from tripping on something. Then he really noticed the area. The mountains were stunning and really everything around him way beautiful.

Yusuke found himself looking around with a neutral expression, while internally he was incredibly excited. This whole world was filled with inspiration. Who would be upset with living here when the world was so amazing. He was certain people who were scared were simply not taking in the beauty of the realm correctly.

Melinda kept quiet when the Hellhound spoke about going to the fall court. She wanted to live in this new strange land that was pleasing to the eyes. She was holding her fox plushie tightly because it kept her calm. ”This is pretty amazing I can’t wait to see what the Fall court looks exactly like,” Melinda thought to herself, with a smile on her face holding her plushie in her arms. She didn’t really know how long the travel will be.

Along the month journey Melinda had never walked anywhere for too long before but she wasn’t the one to complain about it. She had never seen all these sights before, they were like out of her anime in some cases but slightly different. She had a gentle smile on her face all the way through their journey to the Fall Court. ”This place is wonderful,” Melinda thought to herself, with a smile on her face. She hadn’t really thought to talk to any of the other humans even though some of them are interesting. She had wondered how the woman who said said those mean things are doing.

Melinda enjoyed the journey so far, and had an expression of a slight smile on her face while looking around at the scenery. She did notice the man, who was drawing in midst of what happened a month ago. ”Huh? Sometimes people who are masters of their crafts confuse me and he definitely does right now,” Melinda thought to herself, with a slightly confused expression on her face. She had never seen anyone with a neutral expression before, mostly because of her friends. She could tell he was looking at the same things she was looking at but she didn’t really have the artist touch like he has, since his drawing was beautiful of what she saw of it.

Elsa murmured her understanding. Do what you are told and survive. Wasn't that what prisoners did? Wasn't that what she had done all those years in foster care? People made a big deal about pride, about things they just wouldn't stoop to do, they'd rather die than do certain things.
But pride and sensibilities were worth nothing in the long run. The end game was survival. To wake up each day still alive and able to move. That was what life was about. Survival at any cost.

So Elsa walked. She followed and she remained silent.
During the journey the humans in their group started chatting, some to each other and some to the fae around them, but Elsa stayed mute. She only spoke when she had something of value to say.
The trip wore on her though. The constant travel was tiring. Her feet bled inside her shoes and she began to limp. Still she stayed silent. Enduring pain in silence was what got her through her childhood. Oh it had always angered her foster mother that Elsa developed the ability to take her beatings silently. The quieter she was, the angrier her foster mother would grt. But she always made Elsa screaming the end...

Elsa's fingers worked absently during the trip, moving along invisible keys as she stared into space, her lips moving soundlessly as her favorite songs played through her mind. She longed for music as a parched man longed for water. The only time she cried was at night when no one could see, and she wept for music. Only the most sensitive ears would hear her tears, the slight catches of her breath and the beat of her heart.
The rest of the time she appeared detatched from everything. Elsa was quiet but anyone who studied her would see her eyes taking everything in, analyzing, processing, retaining.

She was going to survive this. And she was going to thrive.

A single action was all it took to rip Vae from a world of her own. The thoughts that once filler her mind was wiped from existence, granted that in reality they were unnecessary, considering the situation at hand. The woman wasn’t quite mad about being shoved off towards the other side. They were in a hurry to leave. Fine. Completely understandable considering those who owned the realm were the ones in charge. Though was literally shoving those who were in your leader’s court really needed!?

” Honestly I feel safer with the anemôha (dog) than a freakin nêkatôshkashâha (horse). Though I think most people call them something else. Ugh, languages are hard when your step parents use so many to interact with clients Oh gosh. Now I’m speaking to myself through my head like a crazy teenager. What ever shall I do?” Vae thought sarcastically. At least that’s what she was hoping it sounded like. It was going to be a long journey so there was time to learn.

The young woman looked around seeing the pianist begin to leave. This would help begin a conversation, helpful to those who were able to speak the same way. A bit harder for those who were socially awkward. The young woman sighed while trying to decide go for this lovely conversation or not. If they did it would be hard use words instead of music to show a certain feeling. Though what if this woman is told about this talent? Would the person through the native american under the bus in order to save herself or keep it a secret from their captures? Only way to figure this out and the was to tell her.

She quickly jogged up to catch the older girl. Attempting to give a nice smile, and failing miserably at it. After a few seconds the action was released. ” I’m not sure well this will go. Mainly because emotions aren't really my thing and honestly this feels weird enough. I saw what you were doing to your fingers before the wâkoshęha walked up to you. If I’m not mistaken you were playing the piano. As for the song I’m not quite sure. Granted that this grand instrument isn’t something which I've had the pleasure of picking up.
Hopefully I'm saying this correctly. If not please do correct me."
One wouldn’t be tell if she was being serious or not. Though the woman was able to reveal she knew the instruments fairly well.

” Sorry. I guess introduction are traditionally spoken out first when greeting an acquaintance isn’t it? Apologies for my rudeness. My name is Vae Lynn SaDablio. My favored instrument is the violin and I’ve been told since a young age I’m very good, though when rivaled against a woman of your skill set I would loss second to none. If it sounds like I’m being rude this is false. I’m telling nothing but the truth.”
