Up there next to protecting civilians is protecting her colleagues- her brothers and sisters in blue. Protecting her home-town officers is important to her. This is where she was born and this place deserves protection just like any other. Olson has a pride in where some comes from even if it's just a small town most people might miss on the map.

[b][color=8493ca]Life Before the Murder:[/color][/b] Alice was born to a retired police-officer father and secretary mother. Her father retired early after failing to stop a particularly nasty crime in progress and moved to the small town of Silver Falls to get away from that. When Alice discovered her passion for police work this caused friction between her and her father.

Nonetheless she had a healthy upbringing. In high school she had a boyfriend or two but none that really went anywhere- she was going to be 'married to her work' soon, anyway. She wished to be one of the police officers who she saw as her heroes. Cars were also interesting to her and if she was not to be a police officer she would be a mechanic. It was what was described as being a 'tomboy', but Alice never did 'grow out of it'. Not that parents particularly minded but her little brother would often tease her with the phrase. She hasn't really taken notice but perhaps there have been some strange looks from the more conservative among the townsfolk. No hard feelings from her, though- it's just who they are and she's just how she is.

Being one of the few female police officers in the academy sounded like it was going to be a challenge, but as soon as she proved herself not be a physical burden she was quickly accepted by her male colleagues. She became a patrol officer in her home town and has kept a watchfull eye over the city ever since. A relatively peaceful life as a police officer can only mean good things. All was well until recently.

[b][color=8493ca]History with Lucy Taylor:[/color][/b] Lucy Taylor was a member of Olson's community. It's Olson's duty to keep people like Lucy alive and such a gruesome death has been hanging over her since it happened. It's her obligation to bring her killer to justice and stop the killings that have been happening recently; as well as finding the cause of the mysterious events that are bringing fear into the citizens of Silver Falls.
