[@HumanMusic]: I think people are underestimating what I mean by magi and magic here. ^^;

"Low magical capabilities" in this setting is still stuff like self-reinforcement, laser bullets, limited flight in some cases(can be bolstered by Altered Machines as well), barriers(autobarriers are possible for skilled magi or Altered Machines as well) and that kind of stuff.

That's not even getting into the kinds of crazy stuff really good magi can do. ^^;
